Don't see the robe as being more elaborate myself... Eitherway I find the current image more clear than the replacement.

The picture on Color-Coded Patrician doesn't quite work, as the robe is clearly more elaborate, so it's not merely the color that signifies the leader. Plus there aren't that many colors in the picture anyway.
