Let's Players you hate

What Let's Players do you not like and why? Explain here.

I for one hate Nintendo Capri Sun. He constanly uses toilet humor in his videos making them unbearable to watch. His playing skills are very questionable and not only does he use toilet humor, he more often than not belches during his videos making the commentary repulsive. I can't really stand this guy.

Not really, I think some Let's Players are pretty bad and this topic is for what Let's Players you think are bad. Doesn't have to be a Let's Player it could be one of their Let's Plays.

I looked up some LP of Amnesia The Dark Descent, and the first video was choppy, seemed to start in the middle of nowhere, and, well, I didn't like it.

Okay, let's be polite about this then.

I dislike HC Bailly. I don't know, his voice is a bit grating and I just don't like his sense of humor. Eh.

He's informative, but someone I wouldn't watch for entertainment.

Or maybe that's normal... still, mad props for sheer quantity of L Ps, and for staying off of RP's radar.

Uh, they got him in the livestream, though they moved on before the video was finished, guess they thought it wasn't really worth R Ping him cause that video wasn't particularly interesting.

I watched HCBaily for a short while but his tendency to suddenly shout or sing into the mic got old really damn fast for me. Doesn't help that he has far too little material to work into the 40+ hour JRPG he usually does.

I don't remember her name, but there was this teenage girl who did a Fatal Frame LP who would shout, cry, and scream during ghost encounters. I tolerated it for as long as I could before switching to some much more quiet British's chick LP of the game.

Am I the only one who gets this aura of supposed LP authority when it comes to Retsupurae? Like whoever they think sucks at LPing is a fact, instead of the subjective opinion it really is?

As for the topic at hand, I don't really hate any LPer, but then again, I don't watch a lot of LPs. But if I had someone to pick out as someone I don't want to watch, then Chip and Ironicus, I guess.

^ Not really. There are certain objective quality aspects to a LP and a good chunk of RPs are idiots who think uploading a camcorder video of SNES 9 X a screen in a 45 degree SNES 9 X angle with SNES 9 X the face of SNES 9 X God blooming out of it is SNES 9 X a gift to SNES 9 X humanity.

The more debatable RPs on the other hand have much more of a all-in-good-fun vibe to me, especially considering that they more then once completely flip-flopped on LPers.

Their fanbase on the other hand can be quite rabidly retarded.

I'm not saying every person RPed didn't deserve it. Some of them really need to learn how to properly LP, or even give up altogether. But when it comes to the more popular LPers that are, for the most part, competent, there comes a layer of subjectivity. I think they should stick with RPing the legitimately awful ones.

And yes, a lot of their fans are complete assholes; mostly the Youtube users commenting on the video.

Yeah, a few didn't deserve it. Although in the case of Sir Ron Lion Heart it helped him. Come back Ron, we miss you!

But yeah, a lot of the L Pers they covered really deserved it. Rijno, Quadraxis14, Queenie Z (grrr), Zoop Soul, anyone that L Ps a demo, and that kid that played Star Fox 64 on Virtual Boy.

They mistakenly thought his voice in that video was his true voice. Though I can excuse it, since I doubt they wanted to subject themselves to more. But the comparison to "giving birth to Hitler" (I think that was the line) was going too far.

I actually watched some of Rijno's LPs before finding Retsupurae. I didn't hate him then, but it's been years. Also, I recall him saying somewhere that whatever he used to record videos made him sound whinier than he actually is; his later videos (like this one) don't sound like the RP video's voice. Seems to suffer a lot of Schedule Slip due to college, as his last video was 6 months ago.

Quadraxis14...I dunno. QueeneZ was apparently a Something Awful user, and I heard that they banned her after the RP. Whether it was because she got upset over it, or because the mods didn't want her there anymore I can't say. She relies too much on memes and does not have a pleasant voice.

Forgot who ZoopSoul is, LPing demos is pointless, and the Star Fox 64 on the Virtual Boy guy (samuelking100) should not use a camcorder that way. From what I heard, someone else was playing the game (an older sibling, I guess) and the kid was commenting on him/her.

EDIT: Somehow I confused Playtennis14 with Quadraxis14. My bad.

They changed their minds about Sir Ron, apparently. Chip and Ironicus had a whole video dedicated to how awesome he is.

Quadraxis14 is best known for SNES9x. They admit he's gotten better in their RP of his God Hand LP (they only did the video because of its non-sequitur opening). "I'm hungry, I need to make myself a god sandwich".

ZoopSoul had two videos RP'd. One was a Mega Man 9 "walkthrough" on a camcorder and Zoop describing one of the enemies as "the thing going up Dr. Light's butthole". The other was an I Wanna Be The Guy LP where Slowbeef attempted to read American Gods over it but had to stop and say "Please stop Let's Playing I Wanna Be The Guy" every time he died.

^ Slowbeef even wanted to invite Quadraxis14 as guest for the Quadraxis boss fight in his Prime 2 LP.

Actually the IWBTG video that was RP'd wasn't a Let's Play. It was a competition against some guy named Snakeman (Who was also RP'd). Yeah you can tell some of them were done for fun.

I once watched a Let's Play of Policenauts on NicoNico Douga where the LPer's baby started crying. Instead of stopping to take care of it and then editing it out, he let it cry for the rest of the video (which was about fifteen minutes).

Well, Retsupurae has just introduced another Let's Player worth hating.

ansem12351 (what is that his zip code?). Slowbeef and Diabetus looked at his camcorder Final Fantasy X LP (recorded for Ustream, always a sign of quality).

But it's not just using a webcam to record a 40+ hour game. Take a listen to some of the things "ansem" says. Do they sound familiar?
