Best news I've seen in a long while, actually.
I'm a skeptical squirrelYeah, I think the show has run long enough, and I didn't like the Cerebus Syndrome. I liked the first seasons better. The problem is Ambers death I guess. It was a great story and all that, but ever since the writers seem to have tried to up the drama.
That and the constant Status Quo Is God attitude towards House are the biggest flaws of the show.

You lost!Well I'm disappointed. It's going to be weird not to have regular House snarking anymore, it's been on so long.
Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult. If they actually focused on or did cases more than the constant drama I think I would have liked these last few seasons more.
Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!I just hope it ends on some kind of closure.
I'm annoyed that the cases became less and less prevelant as the show went on. They were my favourite part (that and the mind games between House and Wilson)
I don't think I've seen Season 7 and 8
"Contests fought between two masters are decided instantly. An invisible battle is now raging between the two of them." Lulu vs SchneizelI haven't watched any new House M.D. stuff after they went to the network run by that Australian/American Spawn of Satan, Murdoch.
I am actually disappointed the previous season wasn't the last. It would have been great to let House have some development and let the Cuddy thing end with an acceptable note rather than the Rule of Drama sillyness that happened next.
Oh well.
What would you guys call the hardest House case ever? If such a thing can be quantified.
Honestly, I'd say it's the case from Not Cancer. The second episode of Season 5. The one where all the people who got organs from the same donor suddenly either die instantly or fall ill. I don't think I've ever seen the team at such a loss for words.

"Contests fought between two masters are decided instantly. An invisible battle is now raging between the two of them." Lulu vs SchneizelLiked it better when Scrubs did that.
I'm a skeptical squirrelI'd like the season if Chase wasn't in it.
Such an annoying character.
Just letting that out, don't intend to go into details.
F'ing NASCAR *pout* Well, I guess I can survive until March 19 *eyeroll*
Rawrz?Park was so damn cute while she was trippin'.
...Holy dick move, Batman.
Didn't see that* coming.
I don't get it.
You lost! The TNG Season 8 Twitter is meant to parody Franchise Zombie shows by applying boring formulaic main plots and cliché pseudo-comedic "wacky shenanigans" B-plots to TNG. And that's what House feels like now. I mean just look at the premises of the last few eps: "A sick hockey player causes Taub to express his grievances with the sport. Meanwhile House makes Wilson believe he has a long lost son!", "The crew treats a guy in love with a RealDoll. House hatches a scheme to prevent his favorite hooker from leaving the business!" I know this show was ALWAYS a tad formulaic but this time they're scraping the bottom of the barrel.

It certainly is formulaic, but the characters are so damn good that it doesn't bother me as much. The thing with Wilson's not-son was pretty bad, though.
Also: Wilson's "I have cancer." Was I the only one who saw that coming a mile away?
How dare you disrupt the sanctity of my soliloquy? Now I have to ask. Exactly which characters are so damn good? Because I have never, ever heard praise for someone besides Hugh before.

I'm a skeptical squirrelI like Taub, Park, Chase, and Foreman. It's not even an objective assessment, to be honest- I just really like watching them interact, play pranks, argue away their own guilt by proxy, insult each other, et cetera. And yes, I know the show is experiencing some real Seasonal Rot, becoming more like a soap opera, but I still love the characters.
How dare you disrupt the sanctity of my soliloquy?I was almost in tears watching what could have been Wilson's final moments.
....Well Shit.
Fuck. I know Chase has left before, and it's not going to matter in a couple of episodes, but it still sucked to watch.
Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult.
Wilson doesn't work in House's diagnosing team. His work is to be the hospital's oncologist. So more often than not, he is House's wife and deals with patients of his own.
