Indexing and red links

Indexing appears to ignore red links when scanning a bulleted line for the page to be indexed. For example, Exactly What It Says on the Tin is indexed on both Notable Gag Per Day Webcomics and Transformation Comic. The lines it appears on start with red links, followed by a pot hole/Wiki Word to EWISOTT.

Would it be possible to fix this without an abundance of index tags? The system could actually index the red links, but that would make navigating by index bars strange. Alternatively, would it be possible for indexing to ignore bulleted lines where the first link is red?

It's supposed to put the first wikiword on any entry in its internal list, but ignore redlinks when making the display bar. Which ones are glitching?

Notable Gag Per Day Webcomics has a link to Exactly What It Says on the Tin following the entry for Savage Chickens, while Transformation Comic has one following Accidental Centaurs.

EWISOTT's index bars list it in between Saturday Morning Breakfast Cereal and Sheldon, then I Dream Of A Jeanie Bottle and Exiern, as would be appropriate if EWISOTT was being indexed instead of the red links.

Of course, it is also indexed on Networks, Play-by-Post Games, Batman, and The New '10s, but in those cases it follows the rules laid out in How Indexing Works.

The indexer "ignore all wikiwords following a redlink when generating the display bar" is busted. It's not only doing it with EWISOTT or on Notable Gag a Day Comics..

Somthing more for Fast Eddie to poke around at...
