Well, y'all know my thoughts on yaoi Juno's voice already :P That's an interesting idea about having slightly different voice quality for flashbacks vs. present day, though. Originally I'd assumed we'd just stick a filter over flashbacks/memories, but this could make clear that a certain flashback/memory is much further in the past, not a recent thing.
You'll voice Vin, then, Sharysa?

survival of the tight-lipped[Insert rambly thing about how she got the idea from theater/opera/whatever and the fact that we'll eventually have to talk to ourselves at some point]
Sure, I'll be Vin as well. Two for one!

Fwah, okay. So as far as major talkers go, we still need a priest, a Serpent, and a stall-owner. And some others.
survival of the tight-lippedI can take another if necessary.
Also, sorry about making you think about your bank account Shar
Yeah, I can take another one as well.
Also, could you do something to distinguish decided voices from undecided ones?

the future we had hoped forRight. Have done so. Must run to class now.
survival of the tight-lippedThat's all right, Dorkus. XD
And everything's coming along a lot more smoothly than I thought it would, considering we're organizing it online.

Okay, on a relisten to everyone's voices, my $0.02 — Ponicalica could make an excellent Priest... but there would have to be some way of ensuring that his voice stands out from Ganymar's. It's not as much of an issue as it could be, since they never appear in the same act (yet), but hey, craftsmanship, yo :P And possibly because Dorkus has showcased a lot of different voices, I feel like his range could extend to the musicians in the City of Delight as well.
Thoughts?
Also — is anyone willing to fiddle with the comic pages/panels for the video? Because I realized that the first act is basically just the narrator narrating, which means it would be really easy to do on the recording side of things for that one! I would do it myself... if I had Photoshop anymore :'D
survival of the tight-lippedI'll take the muscians only if I get an insert song to sing
Although I can't write music to save my life
Well it would be very appropriate to pick a Mr. Children song...
Woo, we have musicians! And maybe we can just cover an existing song; since this project isn't for profit, I don't think the band/artist will mind. Plus, free advertising for them!

So...how's everyone doing now that the holiday's over?
Exhausted and still slogging through the process of getting financial aid for college. x/
I'll still be up for this, though. What are we going to do about recording voices? Should we do the scenes in the order they appear? Lengthier conversations first?

I'm not sure. Who's handling audio mixing anyway? Maybe we should just go one arc at a time?
^That's what I was thinking. Release it in parts.

Always, somewhere, someone is fighting for you. As long as you remember them, you are not alone.
This post was thumped by the Eldritch Flyswatter of Horror
So, we still doing this?
I think so, yes.
the future we had hoped for...I thought we were just waiting for Aoede to set up a schedule-ish thing so we'd be able to get things recorded/photoshopped/uploaded in a timely manner.

the future we had hoped forWoah.
- Schedule? Ahahaha what. However, as I've said, the first act is pretty easy — there's really nothing that needs to be changed around or whatever, and the only two speakers are the protagonist (in his capacity as narrator) and the priest. Please, is anyone with Photoshop willing to do the panel-unveiling... things?
- Hay lookit that, speak of the devil here we have a go at those selfsame priestly lines. Never mind the flub — if it's disconnected enough from the rest of the speaking, a flub can be edited out. More importantly, how do you think the priest's voice differs from Ganymar's, Poni?
As for the difference, part of the problem is that I'm not quite sure. I think with both the Ganymar lines and the priest lines I sort of fell into a certain voice pattern based on the cadence of HERO's writing, and it ended up seeming the same. It also doesn't help that those are his only lines so we don't really know much about his personality.
This is part of why I'd like for someone to take a listen to the lines I read and give me feedback.

the future we had hoped forThe computer Sharysa and I share is suddenly not letting us hear sound. It might be a while before we can get our samples up. x/
Sound is back, woooo

PAGE-TOPPER WOOOOOAnd my reply to Dorkus' reply.
@ Lera: I think a combination of the two would be good; maybe in the flashbacks you can use the Juno!Voice, and in the comic's present-day you can use the Vin!Voice to show how everything sucks now.
