I loved his hilarious take on My Horse Prince. That video got a lot of dislikes, which surprised me. I thought it was really funny and one of his best in a long time. But people were saying things like "is this an April Fool's joke?" and stuff like that. I guess the fact that he was making fun of a mobile game? I mean, I hate mobile games too, but they can still be ripe for comedy, and that to me was a great episode.
I found it genuinely uncomfortable to watch. More due to the game itself rather than the Nerd's take on it, which I believe he tried his best to work with. The vertical formatting was perfectly tongue-in-cheek, but this was one game where I simply just didn't want the Nerd covering at all. I believe I saw enough when I watched Vinesauce cover it.
I was just happy to see James do a video on a game that didn't have any kind of mainstream connection, as he seems to have gravitated more towards those types of games in recent years.
With all the memes about women choosing a bear over a man, Hollywood might wanna get on an 'East of the Sun and West of the Moon' adaptation
I haven't watched the video, but after thinking about it, the game looks more like something JonTron would review than anything the Nerd would cover.
It's one thing to make a spectacle. It's another to make a difference.
