Great story. I've loved Digger since I started reading it, and now it's over. (Does anyone else wish Ursula would continue Gearworld?)
Continue Gearworld? She comes back to it from time to time anyway. It's just not something that lends itself well to a story.
Sakamoto demands an explanation for this shit.Oh, I know she does pieces on the theme, but do you mean the Gearworld Livejournal? Because it's been five years since the last post there, thus my comment (it's all fabulous, by the way).
Ah. That. If I remember right she has trouble writing stories set in that world — it lends itself better to pictures, like I meant by last post.

Sakamoto demands an explanation for this shit.So I just got into Digger. Been amaking a ton of prgoress.
Digger is pretty sweet. Besdies the fact I have to read Ed's stuff twice to get him properly.
I dunno, I just felt like talking because I have gotten to the point in the stor ywhere apparently the hyenas cant eat becuase Shadowkid has been stopping to ask every thing they hunt if it can talk and, I dunno, I can't stop laughing.
The Blog The ArtAh, yes, Digger is indeed awesome. And Shadowchild is a very cool little character.
Be not afraid...I love wombats Their culture is hilarious and brilliantly practical.
Admittedly I think binding 1-5 year legal contracts for relationships are a touch too far. You'd think they had transcended beyond petty emotions or something with their attitude.
The Blog The ArtI watched this avidly while it was updating, but had almost forgotten it existed since. Thanks for reminding me.
Posting this here too for anyone watching this thread: I recently rediscovered Irrational Fears, an older comic by Ursula. Started a thread here (link to the comic in OP).
Just found out there's a Kickstarter for a 10th anniversary collection with only a few days left.
Crap. I just realised I haven't read Digger in gods knows how long. FUUUU.
Spooky.
