A "stale discussion" report is coming that mods can use to decide about locking a thread (thereby removing the notice) is coming.
Goal: Clear, Concise and WittyOr maybe only displaying the forum link if the topic is active within X number of days?
An Ear Worm is like a Rickroll: It is never going to give you up.I found a new problem with the automatic notifications: we can only add one. This is just fine for the standard rename/fix, but it's no good for merges or issues affecting two tropes. It would be great if we could hook two (or perhaps three) pages to a given thread for such situations.
I'm bad, and that's good. I will never be good, and that's not bad. There's no one I'd rather be than me.New problem: Fan Fic Recommendations has about 6 tags on it, to the same thread

BTW, I'm a chick.Yeah, sorry about that. My computer was... misbehaving.
What's precedent ever done for us?And another one: When a Repair Shop thread is hooked to a redirect, the notice doesn't appear on the page it redirects to. First noticed in "Rename and examples: This Bed Of Roses" (which redirects to This Bed Of Rose's).
All due apologies if this should go in a separate thread, but I saw other people posting multiple problems about this system, so....
That one's easy. Just fix the thread link to point to the main title. I've done that before. Or better, don't create repair topics about redirects.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Yeah, that's one solution, but it could possibly get sticky when dealing with ptitles (as in the aforementioned thread).
The new system in TRS and Image picking where an article is linked to the thread and has a notification put at the top of the article leaves us with a problem: If the thread goes nowhere, or the consensus is to do nothing in the case of a rename / image change, the notification remains at the top of the article. Since, unlike the old TRS tags, it does not appear in the page's source, it cannot be removed.
