So the Magic Versus Science page gives us an xkcd image of some kinda science graph and showing us that it science by itself works. Fine. But what does this have to do with the trope? The trope itself is supposed to show the conflict between magic and science, how the two different elements are constantly debating between each other. The xkcd image only shows 1/2 (or less of this).

The comic is a graph of something intentionally chosen for its difficulty to understand. I realize that, itself, is kind of what the trope means, but I think "intentionally difficult to understand" is an automatic disqualification.

Agreed, the image pictured is just a really bad representation of the trope.

If we're going to be super critical about the magic element, why not use something like xkcd #373? [1]
