Kira Kira

One, I don't even know what all makes up the Overdrive 'verse if there is such a thing, even if I've played them all. Two, they're not really as popular as Key or TYPE-Moon works, so there would be constant risk of spoilers.

Then use spoiler tags! Plus, eventually Overdrive games will be popular. Hopefully. Maybe possibly if one of them ever gets an anime adaptation. Which I still can't believe hasn't happened.

Just use spoiler tags and all should be well. Maybe neobowman will play Edelweiss in the future, and we'll have more people to talk about Edelweiss with.

Or maybe we could launch a massive advertisement campaign to make people play Overdrive games.

I'll play it eventually, once I finish the ones I have right now. Also, Clannad After Story anime is the saddest thing I have everseen. Only thing I've ever cried at.

Does anyone know where I can find more tabs for Kira Kira?

Nope. It's not exactly popular, even in Japan. I've transcribed some of it, though. If you check out the OST, here's what I have:

Track 14: The rhythm part is D-Bm-G-A all the way through.

Track 19: I'm not nearly finished it, but I know the harmonics are on the 7th fret.

I'm busy tabbing out Karma from Ever17, actually. I think I should finish that first.

Instead of going through with Karma, I'm going to tab out the main part of Track 19 of Kira Kira. Here's what I have so far, right after the intro:

I just got a bass =D. Means I'll have to figure out that tab on my own but I'll still be using the guitar too.

The part after the intro actually isn't too hard to figure out. It's mostly the intro that's tricky. Overall, it's a nice, slow song. Much easier to tab out than some of the others.

E Dit: And, since the intro is actually still playing with the solo guitar over it, it makes an awesome two-piece arrangement if you have a friend who also plays guitar.

On a better note, I found official sheet music for a few of the vocal tracks, such as Too Fast To Live Too Young To Die◊, Like a Life, Like a Live!◊ and 君の元へ◊ (which I believe the band plays around the time their van breaks down).

I'll try to figure them out, though I'm already a little busy figuring out Track 02 (the bluesy one) of which I'm quite certain I've finished transcribing the first guitar part.

Bad End? More like BEST END! So true.

It took me hours to re-find this piece of fanart, and to date it's only the second Kira Kira fanart that I've found, and certainly the best one. The only other "fan" art I've stumbled across is some stuff by Shinji Katakura, OVERDRIVE's character artist.

I just started playing Kira Kira. This game just makes me smile and feel all good inside when I played it last night, for some reason...

I've started on Chie's route. The beginning is really, really amusing.

Hooray again! Chie is my favourite of the girls, and actually one of my favourite VN heroines. Behind Kohaku, of course.

All this makes me wish Kira Kira would get an anime or at least a solid, lengthy sequel that's done differently than Curtain Call. Maybe someday...

Squeeing forever at Chie's route. That was just awesome. Sarina's route was heartwarming in its own way, but I don't think it compares at all to Chie's route. But meh, opinions.

This game just makes me grin, smile or laugh. Sometimes all at once.

She has two routes, being the main heroine.

If you like Kira Kira, then you'll probably be interested in Edelweiss. the re-translation of which is coming out in just a few days.

Also, Mangagamer's working on translating Dear Drops, a sort of successor to Kira Kira, with similar themes.

Also rage at Kirari being the main heroine instead of Chie.

Finished Kira Kira~

Kirari's true end was kinda weak, but it leaves a certain sense of Reality Ensues. Like things will be okay afterwards. I suppose an ending like that is satisfying in its own way... But I still wish it should've ended with a performance.

And I knew that girl from Osaka was going to be important

Should I play Curtain Call after this?
