This thread is for requesting edits or unlocks to Locked Pages or for requesting locks. It can also be used for technical requests to moderators such as:
- creating new pages in the Main/ and other restricted namespaces without going through Trope Launch Pad
- moving discussion pages
- moving reviews
Please keep the following guidelines in mind:
- Check Locked Pages and Permanent Red Link Club first. They can provide guidance on what are good and bad requests.
- Include working links in your request to the page(s) in question.
- If asking for edits, state your changes exactly as they should appear on the page, including proper Example Indentation, namespacing, and pothole and quote formatting. And make sure that what you want to add is actually a valid example.
- We do not edit archived articles, even to correct links.
- If you need to have the capitalization of a page title or namespace of a work fixed, ask here.
- If you need to remove a ghost wick, go here.
- To request a page to be moved along with its history, go here.
- Some locked pages have ongoing cleanup threads, like Complete Monster (Thread), Five-Man Band (Thread), and Magnificent Bastard (Thread). Other than purely technical requests, edits to these pages ought to be discussed in these threads first.
- Also, we do not do direct edits (other than changing wicks) to Magnificent Bastard or Complete Monster example lists. Rather, you need to do the edit to a sandbox page that follows the format Sandbox.Magnificent Bastard<Name of the example subpage> and Sandbox.Monster<Name of the example subpage> (e.g for Monster.Disney it's Sandbox.Monster Disney) and ask for it to be swapped in on Saturday for Magnificent Bastard and on Monday for Complete Monster.
- Inappropriate pages that keep being recreated, pages banned under The Content Policy and subpages that are disallowed (like Headscratchers pages for tropes) are valid reasons for requesting page locks.
NOTE: Edited with OP's permission.

You'll have to tell us what they are. None of the mods read minds.
...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.Anyone up for removing that Berserk Button entry from the Wikipedia article yet?
Minor edit: Complaining About Shows You Don't Watch should have its image right-aligned since the page starts with quotes.
Alright, here it goes.
The subpage list for Narm looks like this.
- Anime
- Comic Books
- Film
- Literature
- Live-Action TV
- Manga
- Music
- New Media
- Professional Wrestling
- Tabletop Games
- Video Games
- Webcomics
- Western Animation
- Real Life
Advertising does not count for Live-Action TV. Star Wars and Jack Chick should not be like that since the page for the type of media that they are in will link to them. Please change it to this.
I think we should just cut the narm example list and tell people to put it on the pages YMMV page.
Fight smart, not fair.Why?
^Not actually my favorite animal. It's basically a huge subjective. Why centralize it if we can just sent it out to the pages? Of course, I'm also quite lazy.
Fight smart, not fair. And the Seltzer And Friedberg page STILL DOESN'T EFFING MENTION VAMPIRES SUCK. What's up with that?
"It's basically a huge subjective. Why centralize it if we can just sent it out to the pages?"
Same reason any other trope is centralized, because people (including myself) like to read it. When you want to read about Narm or any other trope, its easier to go a page were the examples are all collected together instead of going to each work's page.
"Of course, I'm also quite lazy."
I'm confused, what does that have to do with anything?

^Not actually my favorite animal.Nuclearneo, that's not a minor change to a locked page. It's a complete re-organization of it, including a bunch of page moves and new pages. If you want to do that, do it up in the sandbox namespace, or in a word processor, and present the finished work.
...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.No, it's not. He just moved where the advertising folder is. Nothing is deleted or added. One folder just needs to be moved to a different point in the list. It would take moving one line and deleting an asterisk.

Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickRight. Just slightly re arrange the sub page list a little.
On The Bible page, in the second paragraph there's a period where a space should be between Jewish and perpective:
For the traditional Jewish.perspective, strike out
Kind of a minor nitpick, but there you have it. Also, under I Got Better Lazarus needs to be added.
Also, on the Ctrl Alt Del page, under Anti Sue, the bit about Ethan being no more likely to be right than other religious figures who attack him over Winter-een-mas, the Dude, Not Funny! pothole needs to be removed because that's not an example of that trope.

This is still a signature.Got the first and the last. Didn't do the Lazarus one, because it's not an example: I Got Better is "In other words, the only reason the character is still alive is because Status Quo Is God and the writers invoked the First Law of Resurrection: they just didn't want him to remain dead."
...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.A couple edits to UsefulNotes.Atheism that have been proposed in the Discussion:
- The reference to the Family Guy episode "Not All Dogs Go To Heaven" is not necessary and should be removed.
- The "A Few Words on Literalism" section was subject to some discussion — a suggested rewrite appears on the discussion page here. (I neglected to ask opinions on the final parenthetical when compiling that rewrite — but I would be inclined to preserve it.)
Also, regarding the edit justification: what was the edit war that mandated locking the page? I recall looking at the edit history at the time and not seeing a lot of activity.
Edit: Page is unlocked, edits done!

On Brother–Sister Incest, there's the word "Antiochus" outside of a folder. It's just below the Opera folder. While I'm assuming it's probably an opera, I know nothing about the source and it's useless to just have the work name, so could we get it removed? If not removed, at least inside the folder?
Also, out of curiosity, why was the page locked? There have been complaints on Locked Pages and that article probably shouldn't be negative. The only thing I can tell is that maybe people were ignoring the admin notice about images at the top, but that seems like more of a ban problem than a lock one.
“Isn't it enough to see that a garden is beautiful without having to believe that there are fairies at the bottom of it too?”This Is For Emphasis Bitch. Two examples I came across that would work well for the locked page.
In American Pie, Alyson Hannigan added in the scene of her dominating Jim in bed.
—>"What's my name? Say my name bitch!"
And the famous Buffy example is not there either. Buffy finds Spike outside her house and, well, bitches him out.
—>Buffy: What are you doing here? Five words or less." —>Spike: Out. For. A. Walk...bitch."

Currently reading up My Rule Fu Is Stronger than YoursFor the Phineas And Ferb page, under Bishie Sparkle, I'd like the Flawless Girl ad from the Midsummer Festival episode to be added. Please mention the butterflies following her around, too!
Cats can lie in wait for hours, then suddenly pounce on a butterfly.Phineas And Ferb is locked for a different reason. Check this thread for the reason.

You got some dirt on you. Here's some more!Could Characters.Touhou get unlocked? It is no longer large.
Could Americans Hate Tingle get unlocked? I really doubt an edit-war is going to spark back up over four months later, and the page is in desperate need of a natterectomy.

- Under My Immortal: Rewrite "[[strike:[[AwesomeMcCoolname Awesome McCoolname]]]] [[AwesomeMcCoolname Sucky McFailName]]" as "[[strike:[=ÞAwesome McCoolnameÞ]] ÞFail O'SuckynameÞ=]".
- Also under My Immortal: Add the Cookie Cutter Fic trope. Its addition is overdue.

I have a few new tropes and new things to add to Prince of Persia's tv tropes movie page.
