Let's all moan at one another about how sucky we feel. It can't hurt worse than our sinuses already do!
I've got a runny/stuffy nose and a sore throat to match. I woke up this morning feeling unusually better about it than I had been, thinking, "Hey! Maybe it blew over already...!" Ha. As if. Being able to talk sure would be nice.

So, I'm over my cold. Only to get my monthly instead @_@
What a week lol
I'm oddly hyper though thanks to my medicine, which was caffeinated
Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure PurenessIt's possible that I ended up dealing with a sinus infection at some point after the allergy problems I started having last month, so I'll see what my doctor says regarding my current symptoms.
Edit from hours later: Yep, it's a sinus infection.

Patiently awaiting the release of Paper Luigi and the Marvelous Compass.I also just got a sinus infection three days ago. No runny nose, but chills and headaches kept me awake at night. Sometimes the phlegm I spit up comes out red too, but thankfully that hasn't happened today yet. I guess I'm gradually getting better but my throat still feels something scratching the inside when I swallow.
"There's no such thing as pure freedom in this world. Even the wind cannot blow forever."I had multiple seizures today. It is probably due to my broken sleep schedule; I woke up late today and took my medication then.
I've been having some amount of vertigo/motion sickness lately for some reason. Might have to do with how often I've been sitting in a car these past two days... though oddly, I almost never get vertigo, so I'm not sure what's going on.
Cold turkey's getting stale. Tonight I'm eating crow.^ Ears. Possible ear infection. If something screws with your ears balance issues, motion sickness and vertigo are possible effects.
It could also be a fluid injection or buildup.
It should pass on its own but it’s not a bad idea to talk to a doctor about that. Especially if you feel it’s a sudden onset of symptoms.
I think I've caught a mild cold. Not as bad as last time, but my throat is quite hoarse and my joints across my skeleton do feel quite achy. I'm gonna take a rest for the rest of the day and hope I recover quickly.
"I usually specialize in Dragon-types, but now I'm a fairy and specialize in Fairy-types. See the irony?" - IrisI hope so too. -hugs-
I like to keep my audience riveted.I've been dealing with a viral upper respiratory infection of some sort lately (not sure if it's a cold or something else; it's nothing serious, but still a pain to deal with), so I'm not sure if I was misdiagnosed when I was told I had a bacterial sinus infection, or if I somehow ended up with a viral illness not long after dealing with a bacterial one. (I did a home COVID test earlier this week and it was negative. My week wasn't corona-free since there was a total solar eclipse, but the corona I saw then is unrelated to viruses.)

Patiently awaiting the release of Paper Luigi and the Marvelous Compass.I seem to be getting over a mild cold-like illness. Given one of the symptoms was watery eyes, it might be allergy-related — 'tis the season, after all...
Cold turkey's getting stale. Tonight I'm eating crow.Within the past few days I ended up with a stomach virus, though at least it hasn't been as much of a pain to deal with as the respiratory illness I dealt with earlier this month, and at least the virus waited until after my birthday was over.
Patiently awaiting the release of Paper Luigi and the Marvelous Compass. All the same, I hope you get better soon.
I like to keep my audience riveted.I started to feel a slight scratch in my throat yesterday. Then, it became a slight ache and… is it that the glands swell up that makes your throat feel tight, or can something else in the throat swell up, too? Either way, it didn’t get difficult to breathe per se - Describing it that way makes it sound worse than it probably is - but my throat felt slightly tight.
I thought it’d pass with a good night’s sleep. It didn’t. If anything, it kept me from getting a good night’s sleep.
The weird thing is that I otherwise feel OK - No fever, no chills, no sneezing, no congestion, no stinging or running eyes or nose. So, this is either the most minor cold I’ve ever had, a build-up to a bigger cold or some kind of mild throat infection. I’m not sure.
Honestly, I’m moreso annoyed by it because I can’t exercise like this - Doing so when you have a sore throat is legitimately dangerous (So don’t do it) - and taekwondo is so important to me. Bleh. :(
Well, I hope the ginger-honey-lemon tea I’ve drunk 4 or 5 cups of will help. I might go for a VERY leasurely stroll tomorrow if my throat still feels weird and the weather is good (The weather today was GREAT!). Just a slow walk and some fresh air can’t hurt, right?

My AO3 profile. Let sleeping cats lie and be cute and calming.
Currently have some weird sinus-y thing going on—random headaches and a stuffy nose, mostly. COVID test was negative but my classes yesterday and today were canceled due to snow/sleet, so I can't go many places anyway lol
