I'll be looking forward to that, myself.
In the meantime, I like how Emily only got halfway denying interest in Ash before she forgot all pretense and hopped on board with Missi. Missi and Emily on the same wavelength, teaming up on Ash should be good.

He's really not good with showing faces from the side. Never was.

Now if you excuse me, Starfleet is about to award the Christopher Pike Medal to my dick. — SF DebrisI do appreciate me some Missi/Emily bonding. They really needed to come to terms with each other.
"The secret we should never let the gamemasters know is that they don't need any rules." - E. Gary GygaxGOD, the story's slow.
Likes many underrated webcomics^ That's the only detraction is that the comic suffers from severe Zeno's Race with the occasional Arc Fatigue.

I think part of the reason is the daily format. With an update every day, it can seem like they're on the same plot point for much longer than they actually are, even if the amount of chronological time that passes is the same as a weekly strip. That is to say, a comic that updates once a week, like the new format for Angels 2200, might move the plot at the same pace, per week, but Misfile has five times the updates to get to that progress.
Heck, look at Girl Genius, though. That x3/week comic was on the "Tarvek is sick" plotline for like a year, yet remained fun. Misfile isn't even that bad (of course, it's overall not as good as GG, but that's entirely besides the point).
"The secret we should never let the gamemasters know is that they don't need any rules." - E. Gary GygaxSo...
Is Emily now technically on a date with Missi?
Because I was informed once by a girl that if you pay for the movie ticket, that meant it was a date.
(Of course the scenario for me was that I was with two girls and I payed for both of them- fortunately they decided it was funny).
I'm waiting for the shoe to drop when Missi suggests a Tenchi Solution to Emily. She's bound to try it at some point.
I assume Emily is Ayeka, but can Missi really pull off Ryoko?
Or does she play Tenchi while Ash is Ryoko?
Ash is Tenshi. Since Missi has shown an interest in princesses, she could of course be Ayeka, but I thought of her being a space-pirate, yes.
And now it seems Rumi might get some new Character Development cuz he's at the place too.
He's just watching out for Ash, like Missi and Emily, except his motive is a little different... if Ash comes to serious ill because of what he's done, not only might he not get his redemption, but his house of cards built after the misfile might come crashing down.
"The secret we should never let the gamemasters know is that they don't need any rules." - E. Gary GygaxWell he's been acting recently much less idiotic and much less lazy. The voice recorder saving Ash's ass on that last race anyone?
Sigh... that idiot, when a girl says "just friends" but you want to be more, you have to be patient and cautious the first time out together. But I suppose that's too much to ask considering his child brain has fallen out and his new one hasn't grown in yet.
Also... did Rumisiel just call Ash "she"?

Oh, crap, he did. ...and earlier, he attacked Ash for going on a date, "and not with me".
This is going to get bad before it gets better.
My Tumblr. Currently liveblogging Haruhi Suzumiya and revisiting Danganronpa V3.Missi is there. Have to keep up The Masquerade.
Fight smart, not fair.Wow, that guy turned into a jerk fast. Pity...Ash could use a few non-jerk male friends.
I sense the one today has a healthy dose of Nice Job Breaking It, Hero on top of another trope of which I cannot remember the name at the moment.
I feel bad for Ash. He really should have known better. He knows how guys think.
My Tumblr. Currently liveblogging Haruhi Suzumiya and revisiting Danganronpa V3.That's why I don't feel bad for Ash. He should've known better, and very possibly had tried the same schtick in the past.
I honestly think that he did know better, but wanted to be wrong.
"The secret we should never let the gamemasters know is that they don't need any rules." - E. Gary GygaxNow that I think about it, Ash's male instincts are kind of...lacking.
Hmmm....
My Tumblr. Currently liveblogging Haruhi Suzumiya and revisiting Danganronpa V3.I actually got the impression from when Missi first showed up that he actually has like, zero experience with women.
Granted, he still absolutely should have known better, even if he'd never been on a date. He should be able to look at it from a male perspective.
This was kind of a nice job breaking it everyone moment, because it wasn't just Ash at fault, it also was the guy.
If this causes all the help that was going to be there to fix the old road to dry up, I'm hoping that Ash just snaps in front of the crowd and delivers a speech that basically sums up that they should be helping her because she's the one they basically forced to save the racing strip for them, not because she's got boobs and might have sex with them (from their perspective at least, from Ash's, never going to happen for oh so many reasons).

...there's a disturbing thought that just came to mind.
What if he starts telling everyone about how Ash is really easy and put out on the first date.
That would be a really unpleasant rumor.
