I'll admit it, I d'awwed at the explanation by the angel whose name I've forgotten due to me constantly confusing it with Rumetzen...
New User HandleI really like Misfile.
Sadly, it suffers from the same problem that many plot based webcomics do. Namely that it's much better to read it in an Archive Binge or just buy the book then wait day by day for the slow story updates.
And now Ash and Emily engage in "pillow talk." Ash probably should have mentioned, "oh, and I had a really large penis."
Shiptease ahoy.
Imperfect Metamorphosis and Resonance Days Tumblr!Wow, people fucking hate this thing. I read it for 2 days straight and loved it. I actually plan on buying some merch to support. I'm not really getting this whole "wasted plot line" argument. It's pretty obviously the romance and more importantly the characters are the meat of the story. everything else is just dressing...makes the plot taste better. Besides the wasted plotlines mentioned were; the female angel should have stayed in lesbian guise.....That goes against characterization. She messes with them because it's fun, she's not really serious. And...rape? You mean you were expecting the gay guy to rape Emily or are you thinking of something else?
I disagree with just about everything that's been said so far. I love this comic. Personal preference is personal I guess.
Has noone mentioned the great handling of the actual misfile? Ash's reactions seem pretty realistic to me.
That being said, I rarely go for character driven stories (hated lost with a passion for the same reason allot of people hate misfile) but I am going for this one.

Oh, I do hope that's a sexy jester costume.
I think she will dress up as a dragon.
That works. She can wrestle with Ash all night and there's nothing Missi can do about it.

I think when people are saying 'Ash is getting more feminine', they are assuming this on the grounds that Ash isn't making as big of a deal as he used to when he has to do feminine things. I think he simply starting to 'tolerate' it, people irl tend to learn to tolerate things they don't like. A kid may hate a new rule at first, and may protest it, but eventually they'll learn to live with it. Similarly, Ash has had to do things like wear feminine undergarments and deal with periods enough times where they went from major humiliations to small peanuts.
The claim may serve as 'ship fuel' (hey, that could be the name of a new trope ) for the Female Ash x Emily ship, since a more feminine Ash would be more likely to invoke the second rule of genderbending than a more masculine Ash, which if invoked, would likely lead to an 'I choose to stay' when Rumisiel gets to go back home.
BTW, I've tried to access the main Misfile site forum, but all the links on Tropes are broken, and even when I log in on the main page's forum, (getting there VIA the link on the site's front page) I don't see any Misfile forum, only some 'Billy V.S. Snakeman' forum, whatever that is.
I was more thinking dragons EAT princesses...
Arcossi, misfile forum link.
Alternativelly, you can click in the button in the upper part of the main page.

The misfile forum links all give a 'not found' error unless you're logged in. It's a result of some bandwidth issues according to a post on the site - if you're not logged in you can only see one 'welcome' forum.
Hurray for the sexy jester outfit!
And Ash proves once again that he's still a boy.
I still read it, but I admit, the plot tends to lag a lot. Plus, every so often, I look at it and got "Well, that's an odd pose."
Ash is wearing clown shoes today.
Wow, but the last three strips have had some unexpected plot (start here) - Did Ash just agree to go on a date with a man?
It's emphatically not a date as far as Ash is concerned. We all know it can't possibly end anything resembling "well," of course.
I look forward to seeing Emily's reaction.

He Is Not My Boyfriend in the near future?
Most likely. Hell, probably inevitably.

Oh, Missi, what are you doing? Apparently Missi thinks she and Emily as the original romantic rivals need to team up against this new threat. (Let us remember that Missi thinks Ash is a lesbian). Hilarity Ensues.
I know we have a trope for that don't we?

Wouldn't Emily steadfastily deny that she has a romantic interest in Ash, and hence needn't worry about her going on dates?
Emily may deny her romantic interest pro forma but she'll still be ah...concerned for Ash. Missi's response, incidentally makes perfect sense. She likes being part of a romantic triangle. It makes her part of something, and Missi more than anything wants to be part of something. Stalking Ash is something she can do with Emily. Yay, I'm part of something!
Ugh. The guy drawing this really needs to learn when, and when not, to use manga-style background effects.
I will keep my soul in a place out of sight, Far off, where the pulse of it is not heard.
