I think that most people just call it "Pachelbel's Canon".
[1] This facsimile operated in part by synAC.Ptitles are no good as redirects, so if you're wanting a ptitle, best to make it the main name.
BTW, I'm a chick.Either Pachelbel's Canon or Canon in D are the ones I have heard commonly.
Who watches the watchmen?"Pachelbel's Canon" would probably be the best name with "Canon in D major" as a redirect.
And I cant believe that this isn't a trope already its reused everywhere.

Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!Pachelbel's Canon in D would be the most precise name, and thus what I think the main page should be called. — Pteryx
I'd say either Pachelbel's Canon or Canon In D, with the other one being a redirect.
Heapers’ HangoutThere's no need for precision. "Pachelbel's Canon" universally refers to the song.
[1] This facsimile operated in part by synAC.I personally call it "Pachibel's Canon in D".
Of course, I also call Daikatana "John Romero presents John Romero's Daikatana by John Romero: A John Romero Joint", so I should really not be taken as an authority on this sort of thing.
Pachebel's Canon works for me.
Support stupid freshness, yo.Okay, Pachelbel's Canon (ptitle) it is. Redirects from Pachelbels Canon, Canon In D, and Pachelbels Canon In D.
Any more?
I want to create a page about this work, and documenting where it's appeared in various media.
What should the page be named? (Redirects can be created from the other titles.)
Choices:
For reference: the Wikipedia article on it, which is called "Pachelbel's Canon" but gives alternate title "Canon in D major". "Canon in D" redirects to it.
