It occurs to me repeated stuff like that works well in Visual Novels compared to other text formats 'cause they can essentially "throw" the words at you, rather than it all being there at once for your eyes to skim over.
Which of course: Check FINISHED checkFINISHED checkFINISHED checkcheckcheck FINISHEDFINISHEDFINISHED checkcheckcheckcheckcheckcheckcheckcheck FINISHEDFINISHEDFINISHEDFINISHED FINISHEDFINISHEDFINISHEDFINISHED <Die The death!> <Sentence to death!> <Great equalizer is The Death!>

"If mine's is like a bazooka, his is like a nuclear weapon!" -Majikoi
That scene made me laugh so much.
While we're on the subject of repeated lines, didn't Fate Stay Night have a mad section where we got a bunch of repeated lines?
American Army: English can eat shit. Repeat -- English can eat shit. Even funnier because it totally describes why the English is so butchered in the game.

Backloggery MyAnimeListArcher's chant to invoke Unlimited Blade Works from Fate Stay Night.
I am the bone of my sword.
Steel is my body and fire is my blood.
I have created over a thousand blades.
Unknown to death, nor known to life.
Have withstood pain to create many weapons.
Yet those hands will never hold anything.
So as I pray...Unlimited Blade Works.

With all of my love, to this fucking world.
Wise Papa Smurf, corrupted by his own power. CAN NO LEADER GO UNTAINTED?!I think most really good visual novel lines (most really good lines, period) suffer a lot when removed from context; the words themselves don't mean a lot if you don't know the significance they had at that point in the story. But this is one quote that I thought was a great piece of word-crafting. Rather than using the obvious and lackluster route of using big, bolded, badness related words like Hate, pain, fear, etc, the sequence perfectly captured the sensation of delirious stream of thought nightmare logic.
...eventually, we will reach a maximum entropy state where nobody has their own socks or underwear, or knows who to ask to get them back.^ Then you get Fate/Zero. Not technically a VN but this quote is still amazing and interrelates. The crime of rebellion the crime of intimidation the crime of adultery the crime of destruction the seven cardinal sins the crime of coercion the crime of theft the crime of desertion the crime of slander the crime of arson the crime of insulting the crime of disrespect the crime of sowing discord the crime of abduction the crime of bribery the crime of abortion the crime of assisting suicide the crime of gambling the crime of abandoning a corpse the crime of mobbing the crime of abandonment the crime of bearing false witness the crime of possessing stolen goods the crime of kidnapping the crime of violence, all crimes should be assessed and sentenced to capital punishment or severe punishment refuse and deny all hatred kill kill kill it is absolutely forbidden kill kill kill he will absolutely not agree kill kill kill very good just like that kill kill kill right that’s right kill kill kill promise kill kill kill but no but no what kill kill kill ah it is really boring to have only this one thought——

I think those passages just make Nasu's (and Urobuchi's, sort of, since he was emulating Nasu's style with F/Z) prose really, really silly. It's like he's jamming words on the page for the sake of words and being a crazy philosophy major.
I write pretty good fanfiction, sometimes.A lot of Nasu's prose is not quite on point (although in some of the games I've played the text is so much more colorful than what little of the Japanese voice acting I can pick up that I feel like I should really be crediting the prose writing skills of the translators,) but that particular passage just felt really evocative of a bad dream to me.
...eventually, we will reach a maximum entropy state where nobody has their own socks or underwear, or knows who to ask to get them back.I personally love those phrases. I don't exactly know how to explain it but they just click for me.
Just the words isn't anything impressive but in blood red script and strange font being thrown at you in an intermittent style I thought they achieved what they were going for: being creepy. I like it when a VN plays around with the text, and I think more of them should do it.
I have no idea."It's not that big" Ibuki, Let's Meow Meow
Never have I had so many laughs then with this visual novel. I felt so bad for Futaba when Mikan revealed that a catboy's size is about a human pinky.
Beatrice in to Battler in the second game - "In the last game, you were grieving that you couldn't see your parents faces when they died, right? So I left them."
I can't know what I don't."We are two madmen engaging in useless folly."
I just like that whole scene in F/SN.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gFmGNqji4u0"ARE YOU THERE? I AM HERE!" from I/O Revision II. For some strange reason it's really stuck in my mind.
