For Want of a Tern

It was 11:25AM on a foggy Wednesday morning when the final passenger boarded a plane on Island Airlines, from one side of the ocean to another. It was 4:18PM in the afternoon when a flock of migrating arctic terns passed too close to the engines, 4:24PM when the Flight Attendant told the passengers not to panic, and 4:52PM when the plane touched down on an island in the middle of the ocean.

Luckily, the landing was as smooth as circumstances would allow and no one was injured, though most got very wet. Unluckily, the island had no airport and no sign of human inhabitants. After sending a distress call, the Pilot sighed and resigned himself to whoever knows how long it would take for a rescue team to come along.

As people sign up this list will be edited accordingly with the chosen characters struck out. The only established traits about these characters are what is in their title—you can decide their names and personalities for yourselves.

Once these slots get filled entirely, you'll be able to join as a character you made yourself. No character sheets, just think up a short yet descriptive title which you will elaborate in the roleplay with names and all that.
