Civet Cats

I love these carnivores. Very cool. Whole lot of interesting history behind them too. For instance, at one point the Dutch Trade Empire was based on civets. Some species produce a fragrant musk, which the Dutch would extract and bottle for perfume making - an important industry in an era when nobody bathed! They are also the "source" of one of the most expensive drinks on Earth:kopi luwak.

This isn't a civet, but its a close relation called a genet.
