Rascal looks okay but it seems like the hide and seek mechanic could get weird or break.
"Hope for our world, tragedy for another."Looks cute, but its something where I could see the novelty wearing off rather quickly.
While it would get annoying I feel like the name would better befit something that steals items from you instead of giving them to you.
"Hope for our world, tragedy for another."Phantom really made us re-evaluate how we vote for mobs.
It's been so long since those were added. Did we really go "yo, that's dope" when we first saw them, but then go "wow, this is annoying" after they got added?

Introducing the Tuff Golem. It moves items, apparently.

"Hope for our world, tragedy for another."Honestly, I'm not to thrilled about any of them. They're all okay, but none of them really do something that makes me go "Yeah! That's incredible! I want that right now!".
Last year, I thought both the Allay and the Copper Golem were amazing, but I ended up voting for the Allay because (outside of being extremely cute) I thought they were more useful functionality-wise, even if the Copper Golem would've given copper more of a purpose. I think nobody was rooting for the Glare to win there, right?
I voted for the Moobloom two years ago. Sad, I know. Like baritone said, after the Phantom, there seems to be a backlash against the addition of hostile mobs via vote, so I obviously voted for the Glow Squid over the Iceologer the round after that.

I'd like to apologize for all this.My choice is probably the Sniffer, simply because I like the detail that they are a revived creature from ancient times. Yeah, they all stick out so little gamplay wise that I'm voting based on lore.
Popular vote seems to go for them too, if only because voting for them also means new plants. They'll probably just be decorative, but people are excited nonetheless.
I hope the eggs won't be as annoying to hatch as turtle eggs.
I'd like to apologize for all this.Yeah, I think I'll vote for Sniffer, and that's exactly my reasoning too.
If Sniffer ends up winning, it's pretty much that and what mentioned about the plants.
Ancient turtle-thing with cool lore and plants vs. Potential Annoyance 1 vs. Potential Annoyance 2. I'll be very surprised if Sniffler doesn't win.
Sniffer seems interesting, and so does the Rascal. I dunno, playing hide and seek with it in the mines in the promise of a okay-ish decent item doesn't sound like the worst idea.
Goddammit, Schezo... || *insert incredibly thirsty copypasta about Dr. Ratio*Eh, I can see that.
Tuff Golem might be an interesting way to move items around if you can control its behavior enough. Otherwise, it just sounds annoying.
What are we thinking 1.20 will be about? Desert update? End update?
I'd like to apologize for all this.Simply put, "the Archeology Update."
Goddammit, Schezo... || *insert incredibly thirsty copypasta about Dr. Ratio*The Wild Update: Part 2.
"Hope for our world, tragedy for another."Caves and Cliffs Update Part 4
Reminder to vote for the new mob inside the PC launcher or in a dedicated Bedrock server for it.
More info about that here.
Goddammit, Schezo... || *insert incredibly thirsty copypasta about Dr. Ratio*In the new Update, Steve will be voiced by Chris Pratt. He's so cool.
"Hope for our world, tragedy for another."I don't have Bedrock or a Microsoft account. Oh well, I wasn't really decided on who to vote anyway.
I'd like to apologize for all this.Welp, after watching the show, thinking it through a little... I like the idea for the new update, but I felt the presentation didn't do the best job explaining it, mostly because I feel like they showed too little, so the theme that they were aiming for didn't really shine through.

I'd like to apologize for all this.I didn't watch it and don't feel like watching it. What's the next update?
"Hope for our world, tragedy for another."Mojang shows more than what they're definitely bringing, and people get mad because Mojang "lied" to them. Mojang, learning from this, only shows what they're definitely bringing, and people get mad for not showing enough. They just can't win.
They didn't announce a name, and they only showed like four things, so I'd argue it's a bit too early to say "what" the update is about. Judging by some comments made by the devs, the theme seems to be "things from around the world". I don't know if you remember how they announced mud bricks for 1.19 last year, and they talked like how they are used for building homes in Africa? This seems to follow that same trend, showing things like bamboo wood and camels.
And that's the issue, for what was meant to be the central theme of the update, those two things (and some of their uses) was all they showed. They also showed a couple of unrelated features such as hanging signs and a type of bookshelf where you can store books, which are great features I'll admit, but that was about it.
The rest of the presentation was taken up by the other games (Minecraft Dungeons, Minecraft Legends, Education Edition, new things on the Bedrock store...)

I'd like to apologize for all this. Then again, following up on my last post, I do want to try this new model of snapshots, because it does sound interesting, getting surprised by constantly adding new things. And they're coming very soon, too.
I'd like to apologize for all this.
Do I even want to ask what that was?
