Is the joke that Minmax is playing with Kin not thinking he's all that bright?

Oh wow I actually found a Turquoise Turkey... Unfortunately it's not from Turkey, but still pretty cool!

First time is because he can't read. From facial expression, second time might have been legitimate as well. Third time he's definitely messing with her again.

I'm not sure true seeing is always "on"... But then again I don't play D&D.

I was wrong the first time, but I think I know how they reverse this.

It involves "darts".

Would it be too much to ask for a Princess Blanket spin-off comic. tongue

You fell victim to one of the classic blunders!

I wanna explain where Princess Blanket comes from. For the past two years, she's been my coping mechanism. If things felt overwhelming, I imagined a character who is confident and able to easily handle any stressful situation. I would "become" Princess Blanket and say out loud...

..."Princess Blanket cares not for insecurity over her body image" or "Princess Blanket can easily handle money stress", etc.

Becoming Princess Blanket makes me feel defiant toward the things that are too scary. It makes me feel justified in...

...feeling angry about something. Anger is an emotion I have a hard time accepting. For me, becoming Princess Blanket melts away things like Imposter Syndrome and Rejection Sensitivity...

...and Princess Blanket is never nervous. Princess Blanket knows that she is allowed to take up space. Princess Blanket knows that she's valid and she allows me to feel that too.

I wanted to pass Princess Blanket onto Kin and therefore, all of you.

Princess Blanket is not ashamed of her mental health issues.

So catchup; in new comics Minmax gives kin a tail and then becomes a god...

...They got that kind of power just lying around for the sake of a door puzzle?

Seriously, this comic has the worst worldbuilding.

It's the rule of thumb in Goblins: if it has the capacity to be horrifying and inconvenient in equal measure, the world will be allowed to do it.

The traps and dungeon architecture of the Goblins universe would win some sort of award for Reed Richards Is Useless / Cut Lex Luthor a Check if it weren't for the fact that the award would probably be some kind of planet-devouring monster.

A lot of the magic items have a really high power level, too, although as with the dungeon mechanics that applies in both directions.

It reminds me of general old school wish logic where gm hasn't thought of "well how the heck it would make sense for wish to be able of literally anything in any setting" [lol]

Author tweet from the last update:

The magic can't actually do that, right? I mean... it's impossible for some door in a dungeon crawl to actually be THAT powerful, right? That'd be completely game breaking. Right? RIGHT?!

I like the fifth dimension explanation. Although it does raise the question of philosophical zombies.
