If people learned from their mistakes, there wouldn't be this thing called bad habits.
That works for me.
That looks perfect.
Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickYes, the three-part image fits much better, especially the surprised look at the end. Although it's the go-the-magic-route part of the trope, which doesn't concern all examples, it's explicit without the show's context.
Still, waiting to see if other suggestions crop up.

I think this image is fine.
Reaction Image RepositoryThat's lovely. Wait til at least tomorrow afternoon so more people see this, though, please. Weekends our traffic is slower than during the week.
...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.Okay, nobody else manifested, and it's doubtful we'd find a really more fitting picture. I'm doing the switch.
I'll also leave the caption empty for now.

I should have done this long ago, but here we go.
The picture for Instant Cosplay Surprise doesn't fit at all. Not only it is meaningless if you don't know the corresponding series, but it isn't much illustrating the trope.
For this trope, we would need a character finding him/herself into unusual clothes, and clearly quite surprised about it. I think it shouldn't be too hard to find a fitting example, especially with manga/anime pictures, although I haven't one right now.
Any suggestion welcome.
