"New posts" Scroll past the ones you aren't interested in. Easy.
...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.No, I really Taco's on to something here. It would really help if we can check new updates on both site articles and long-running forum threads that one is interested in directly from the Watchlist.

Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus. This has been on the agenda for a long time. Forum upgrades are lower priority than wiki tech.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Well at least it's being planned. Really I just wanted to plant the idea in your heads. Get around to it if you can, if not I can go with my slightly less intuitive interface.
Actually, that one is pretty close to done. Should be ready in the next few days.
Goal: Clear, Concise and WittyAwesome, thanks.
Little issue here pinning down the desired functionality.
Making it to mark a thread is no sweat. Do we also want it so you can mark a topic? For example: Yack Fest is topic. Do we want to be able to say "show me activity in all of Yack Fest?"
For me, there would only be one or two threads in Yack Fest I'd be interested in, so I would just mark those threads and not mark Yack Fest as a whole.
Right now I'm leaning toward thinking the by-topic is not so useful. People who want to see all the threads can just use what we have now.
Goal: Clear, Concise and WittyI personally don't need to bother with sections, since we can see those on the Forum Top. I'd be fine if the watchlist worked like the main wiki watchlist. Then I'm good.
I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid.I see a little dot at the bottom of each thread page.
That dot is a link to something about watching a thread.
I haven't tested it as I'm not sure if it's functional at present. I assume it is still in the testing phase.
Sakamoto demands an explanation for this shit.Yeah, that marks a thread for watching. It's functional. The marked threads show up on this puppy.
There is no way to drop a thread built, yet, and "that puppy" is not integrated into the display. So it is all very pre-beta. Should work, though, for people who tip to it being there.
Goal: Clear, Concise and WittyI'm not seeing the dot. Was it taken down or am I just missing it?
Productivity is for people without internet connections. -Count DorkuYou're just missing it. It's on the left side above the search inputs.
Goal: Clear, Concise and WittyAhh, I see it now, thanks.

yeah, I want to be able to watch specific threads.
Already looks to be useful, though fleshing it out is desired or course.
Do you highlight everything looking for secret messages? No, topic/subforum-watching would be redundant.
EDIT: The list is empty. Then again, there hasn't been any new posts when I checked each individual thread. How do you drop a watched item, though?
EDIT #2: Ah, so it was due to no posts. An option to display all watched threads would be nice, though.

Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus. It's installed. Look at the buttons on the bottom of a thread.

Goal: Clear, Concise and WittyThank you.
This is just what I need to cure my constant refreshing. Thanks!
It only shows up when you're viewing a thread; it'd be more useful to be able to go to the watchlist from the forum top or an individual board as well.
BTW, I'm a chick.^Second; I actually came here specifically to ask for the same thing.
That's in.
Goal: Clear, Concise and WittyThank you!
I really want one. This way, instead of going to the Index and looking for categories that have checks on them, going into the subforum, and finding that it was just some other thread updating, you could add forum threads to a watchlist. Then, you can monitor multiple threads across multiple subforums all in one tab.
