This'll be the discussion thread for the RPG that...at this moment, Ticky, Tachikaze, Lemurian, Evil Children, Daltar and Oni-Lord are a part of, with myself as a GM.

It'll be starting soon! Keep in mind, you can spend favor on random events...but the results might not be what you expect! I made a random events table specifically for the game to fit the lighthearted mood and the setting. Most of it's just modified versions of existing ones that were in the manual.

So! Feel free to say what you like here and discuss the RPG.

Um... This is my first forum RP, what do I do for dice rolls? Or are we on the honor system?

Good question! For things like random events, NPCs and such, I'll roll, but for the most part people can roll for things themselves on the honor system. All I ask is that people share their rolls at the beginning or end of their posts in parentheses.

((Like this or some equivalent, explaining the roll in here. For example. A character is trying to cook something new. Say the person wants to roll with skill, and their skill stat is at 2. They roll a 6. 1d6: 6x2(Skill) = 12. The difficulty of the feat was at 8, so they manage to do it because 12 is higher.)) For anyone who has trouble with the dice business, I don't mind handling it all, just let me know.

I might chime in and roll for people on occasion, though. For example, if someone hasn't rolled for something in a bit and their post ends with them trying to solve an issue? I'll probably roll dice for it just to add some uncertainty and randomness to it all.

Now I need a Will(4) throw to see if Rimeu can stand the annoying cry and if possible a Skill(4) throw to see if she can handle the lizard in a way that it stops crying.

do you guys think that Jamie should get any powers from being a Vampire? I want to establish things so that no one yells at me for making things up.

This game is basically make things up, roll a dice.

I don't think anybody is going to yell at you.

Yeah, Daltar's right. :3 I'm pretty much going with the idea of "Sure, Why Not." Have an interesting idea that makes sense for your character? Go for it!

Want me to roll for whether or not Rimeu's been bitten, or do you just want to say she is, Daltar? It'll possibly have quite the effect on your character if so. lol

After all, it's not exactly like you can break the game with your ideas. No matter what you come up with, your stats that you'd use for it stay the same.

If it's going too fast, I can try to be slower about posting - I was mostly trying to make sure that the Jamie and Yukarin bits could have you pop in quite easily whenever. I'll try to handle it better!

Due to my curiosity, I've been watching the Maid RPG thread. If it's open, any chance I can RP being the book?

Would you rather be a maid? Some of the players planned for this dropped, and while I invited someone else to come in, it seems they haven't decided to do so? And I want to somehow squeeze in the people who want a part when possible, since I feel kinda bad turning people away. XD Still have to balance it with how much I can handle, though, as a first time GM.

So, while I have plans for the book, I might be willing to allow for another maid - as long as she has the same origin as everyone else (reread the premise Ticky suggested on the forum) with the root: artificially created maid. As in, she was maid alongside the others. :3
