TeamUpSeries Issue

I’m having an issue regarding Team-Up Series. Apparently the trope is only used when one character teams up with another character each issue/episode, not the same person throughout the series.

My question is even if it’s the same person would being a team up still count? For example Superman/Batman. The series is a literal team-up between Superman and Batman, but doesn’t fit the team-up series trope. Is there a second trope for when the main draw of a series is that two characters are teaming up?

The current description explicitly rules out Superman/Batman. I think series teaming up the same two characters are distinct from series teaming up one character with a rotating cast of other characters. One throws the focus character into a diverse set of situations and plays them off of a diverse group of characters, while in some cases giving those other characters a larger audience than they otherwise would by attracting fans of the focus character; the other has a consistent dynamic between the same two characters that can veer towards becoming a Buddy Cop Show or other related tropes/genres. (Power Man and Iron Fist probably came closest to blurring the lines between one and the other of the examples I can come up with off the top of my head.)

Ok. I understand your reasoning, but than what trope do I use, if not Team-Up series, to describe a comic where Superman and Batman team up?

I’m gonna bump this as I don’t know what to use instead of Team-Up Series.
