I have seen zero coverage about this on the internet. I just started listening to it, so I figured I'd ask around to see what people thought of it.

The podcast is a horror anthology series is based off of art created by Trevor Henderson, AKA Slimyswampghost, best known for creating Siren Head. It's based in the town of Mayfair, another Where the Hell Is Springfield? example as far as I can tell, and each episode is an audio recording of encounters with supernatural entities. Each episode (on Spotify, at least) has a thumbnail that's done by Henderson to act as a visual aid to the story. I jumped around to a few different episodes, and... I'm not sure how to feel about it.

A few highlights:

The third episode, "The Autopsy" has an excellent Wham Line regarding the nature of the creatures in Mayfair. "Church Musical" has some amazing dark comedy. "Writer's Retreat" has one of my favorite Non Malicious Monsters in a horror property.

The lowlights:

The show engages in Bury Your Gays, which isn't great. "Creekman" tries to be funny with its commentary about how vapid Youtubers are, but by the end I was sad that there was a survivor. Most worryingly, show has content warnings, but they are often incomplete or unhelpful; the episode "Burger Boys" just list "Meat" as a content warning, while the episode "Scissors" just mentions "animal harm", when the episode is about a supernatural stalker.

Has anyone else listened to this, or even heard of it? Apparently it's by the same folks who do SCP Archives.
