Dork Diaries

So I checked the forums if there were anything for Dork Diaries but I couldn't find anything so I'm starting one right here.

I wouldn't call myself a fan of these books but I've been wanting to review more obscure pieces of media, or at least media I don't hear people talk about. In fact I have a review of the first book on blog: https://kiritoxasuna2002.wixsite.com/arwdangerzone/post/dork-diaries-review

I'm also currently reading the second book and I'm looking to review for that as well.

I've wanting to do a review of the books because ever since I was 6 years old, I've always saw these books laying on the shelves at every single library and bookstore but nobody I knew every talked about them.

So I'm curious to anyone who has read the books and might even be a fan, what are your thoughts on the whole thing?

Update: I'm more than halfway done reading the second book. About a hundred pages left. I can't give an ETA on when it will be out yet but it's not going to be until at least March.

While I think I'll be able to finish the book before the end of February, me writing the review is probably going to take a lot longer. I started the first book's review back in June but I only finished until this month.

Unlike the first book, I'm taking notes this time so I don't forget some important details because I probably missed some for the first book. Here's a peak of what I wrote:

Update: I've finished reading the second Dork Diaries book but I haven't started writing the review yet. To give a bit of a teaser, my brief thoughts are that I have similar feelings of this book as the first.

It won't be finished within the next week as I'm currently busy with college work. I have three different exams one day after another.

I still have a lot to say about this book so stay tuned when it eventually arrives.
