Exactly what it said in the title: what if you can grab megacorps from other fiction and let see how they will fare in shadowrun universe.
So far this is some of my ideas:
Umbrella: as anyone expect they will be one of the prime researcher of bacteriological research, while hiding their use to create zombies as biological weapon, you can probably use the idea they are led by a cult of horror worshipers because why not? also proyect Nemesis would be the use of a fully funtional next generation Cyber zombie to use when corpos want something dead, the idea is using the finaly undead automaton: loyal, letal, capable of using weapons and magic. the idea is a long shot but ambition IS ambition.
Also if you want it you can use a rouge AI if you want the red queen, sound fun.
Wayland-Yutani: I dont know much about this megacorp aside they exist in Alien universe, unfortunally they are set in space which shadowrun dosent dwell to much, ether that or use netrunner as construction enterprise who are infamous for demolishing and rebuilding new buildings...for the rich, of course.
Cyberdine: on the other extreme of umbrella, I can see cyberdine be the primordial expert in robotic and the future, if you want a new shiny arm or weapon, those are your guys. Granted Deus and the crash would fuck them over pretty damn badly as a lot of information was lost and the idea Deus probably got a few robot to protect themselves, realizing their softwere was vulnerable. Not the best thing really.
Pentex: Now while other megacoprs can be shady, Pentex should be downright evil, even more than aztecnology of who they have dealing with horrow, Pentex should be one that would be close to AAA right until it is reveal their true nature and one of the few time the corporate court actually cooperate on something while revealing the scale on which this guys operate.
So, any other megacorps you can see in six word?
