Hi everyone, new troper here and this my second thread on This Very Wiki. Have you guys heard about Deviantart user who goes by the name of Khialat (for the record, I don't know if he has account here)? Besides of creating fan-art for such TV shows like My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic or The Owl House and creating his own rendition of Ruby Gillman (utilizing the original version of the movie) he also did his own original series like Goldie (a Fractured Fairy Tale world with Goldilocks characters as central protagonists) and The Little Mermaid: Land and Sea (his own re-imagining of Hans Christian Andersen's classic fairy tale but instead set in modern day and being a full-on Fantasy Kitchen Sink due to appearances of such mythical creatures like unicorns, phoenixes, sphinxes and basilisks). But personally to me (and to other tropers aware of his work), his most ambitious and greatest project has to be series titled Myths Reimagined, series set in a world where All Myths Are True and features Khialat's own spins of classic myths and legends. What I like about this series is how it features myths from every country in the world (heck, even my home country Poland is featured in the form of his version of the Wawel dragon, the dragon that lived in the cave beneath Wawel Castle, in my family town Cracow), from famous ones like Greek mythology to the obscure ones like African Mythology. He even somehow managed to include Santa Claus into this world! Another reason why I like it, is because how it utilizes Rousseau Was Right trope - Medusa and her sisters are given a Adaptational Heroism treatment with addition of getting a happy ending (with Medusa and Perseus becoming Official Couple), Krampus is revealed to be Tragic Monster who got brainwashed by Shub-Niggurath after drinking her mutagenic milk, and after being freed by his mother Hera he becomed Dark Is Not Evil type of character, who continued to scare people only to encourage them to be more kind and be more appreciative with their families and communities. The reason why I am writing this thread, is because I hope that someone will create page about it on This Very Wiki, given that when I checked if it already has page here, and I founded nothing, I thought to myself: "Seriously, why such a awesome fan-series doesn't yet has page on it's own here?". So I thought that maybe You, people from this This Very Wiki, could create media page about it, given that I alone wouldn't be able to do it (both from personal reasons and the fact I didn't yet read all the entries of it). So if someone notices my thread and decides to accept the challenge of creating a page dedicated to this series, they can send me a message telling me that they can do it, so I could be aware of it and give my helping hand to those people by adding some information and in general familiarize them with the central topic.

Okay, so I gather that you want there to be a page for this work?

If so, then let me encourage you to do so! After all, This Is a Wiki and Works' Pages Are a Free Launch: the design of the site is such that people can make pages for works that interest them. (As long as they have the minimum number of tropes to add—but that's a mere three tropes.)

(If I may, large blocks of text can be a little difficult to read, I fear—it may help people to read your post if you were to break it up into paragraphs.)

I already listed reasons why I can't create this page personally and only contribute to creation of it when someone else will create it. I suppose you missed this part when reading my post, eh?

I did, yes—as I said, large blocks of unbroken text tend to be hard to read, so people tend to skim over them and try to pick out the general idea.

Hence missing things within the text!

If you don't mind breaking your original post up into paragraphs, that would I daresay make it far easier for myself and others to read. Thus reducing the likelihood that people will miss things!

So you don't think you ca ncreate a page for it because you haven't read every entry, but you expect people who've only heard of it from your forum post to create a page for it?

[up] Dude, that's some impressive Armor-Piercing Question. I'm not lazy, but creating a whole page would be too much for me, since I'm still new here and I can't spend too much time in front of the computer (I still live with my parents, and I recently turned 20) and I have other things to do on the computer (browsing internet, playing games etc.), and I wouldn't have enough time for all these things. Speaking of the last one, I don't expect people who heard about it from my post to do it, I just thought that there are at least some people here who have already heard about it and my post was just a way to reach out to them. Still, you have rights to call me out. Over the years I have learned that it is not worth waiting for someone to do something for you. Anyway, I'm not mad at you for calling me like that. That's something that My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic teached me: always forgive others.

As far as I'm aware, there's no minimum length for a works page. The description could just be one sentence providing the name of the work, the author, and a very bare bones premise. Add one or two tropes under that, and you're good.

Not a very exciting page, but it provides something to work from - either you or other tropers could then come back to the page when you have a moment or two, adding an example or two on one day, maybe another example a week later, maybe fleshing out the description a little when you have time.

Well, Eye Bonito made one for me, since I don't know how to create sandbox pages (and it mostly consits of information that I copy-pasted from web animation page that I created since I didn't know how to create sandbox page, but then realized it doesn't have too much information and I decided to nuke it, and asked Eye Bonito to make sandbox page for it.

I read a few examples of this series yesterday at work in the cafe, and I've got to admit, they're pretty promising. I definitely wouldn't mind this thing having a tropes page now.

Hello, it's me again. In which work should we put this series - fanfiction or web original? I want to hear your arguments for and against.

Hi, just a quick question: Is he actually writing stories or not…?

^ Sort of. He actually posts artwork portraying myth/legend/story with all details included in the description. However, when the story he wants to tell has too many details, he creates one in the Literature section, like this one. I hope my post answered your question.
