Does it have just one disease or can it be affected by all of them?
If all of them, then the symptoms could play out as environmental effects in the dungeon and debuffs on everyone in it at the time.
If it has a cold = slimy walls and a "Fatigue" debuff on everyone.
If it has a fever = The air is hotter than usual, difficult to breath, the monsters have a "burn"-DOT effect on their attacks and the people gets a "Confusion"-debuff slapped on them.
If poisoned = Every monster in the dungeon have a "Poison"-effect added onto their attacks and the party suffers a "Poisoned"-debuff, causing them to lose health the longer they are in the dungeon. Also, the number of toxic monsters increases.
Things like this?
"If there's problems, there's simple solutions."Yeah, but In addition, I'm also looking for more unique diseases specific to dungeons and þe like if possibe.

I have a feeling that the location itself would look terrible.
Overrun with Alien Kudzu, perhaps?
Þhose do seem like good suggestions. Þanks
I also want to ask how þe diseases of a genius loci would affect the inhabitants as well. Where would it be a 1:1 case and where the results would differ?
(before anyone asks, check sig)

I have an interest in Genius Loci and related tropes and there have a question here.
If a living place gets sick, how would it manifest? Would it affect þe inhabitants? Would it affect the neighboring environment? How would they get sick to begin with? These are the questions I make this þread to answer
