Someone else may start, should they wish to. If no one does so within a reasonable time frame, I will step in.
What if someone keep posting repeatedly and quickly and add 5 points to the entry they like? Does the 5 posts rule still applied here? Can we uplift our own characters, or just others'?

Meow meow meow (I am just a lilβ hungry cat, I have nothing to do with a certain guy who hired an assassin)The answer to both is yes.
Alright, I'll be willing to host the first round and I've got a good theme, though can we have an add two points rule instead, just to make sure the length of one round is equivalent to a round of EG?

Come play Character Uplift Game!- Scorekeeper picks the theme. Please keep it reasonable because the last thing we need is drama. That is to say keep it from being political, NSFW, franchise-specific (though crossovers can work if well-known and broad enough, and with a readily available list to choose from) or with obtuse specifications.
- The game begins with at least twenty-five entries, depending on the scorekeeper's discretion. One entry per post, and up to two posts per poster unless 48 hours have passed, then anything goes until there are 25 entrants. Wait at least two posts before posting a second entry.
- At the nomination phase, a maximum of two entries from the same franchise can participate at any given round, and if at all only one such entry per person. In the event that the theme can be restrictive, this rule can be relaxed as per the scorekeeper's discretion.
- You are not required to nominate an entry in order to participate.
- All votes add two points to an entry. Those points can be distributed however you wish, so long as there is one +2 or two +1s. No exceptions!
- Invalid votes must be edited within two scorekeeper updates in order to count.
- Space your votes between at least five other peoples' votes, unless 24 hours have passed with not that much activity. In any context, no doubleposting.
- If the host makes a post stating the intent to tally, they have up to an hour to do the tallying (Tallying should be easier to do here, since you only have to add points.) Otherwise the post will be null and void and the round shall proceed.
- If there's no update for 48 hours, the game can be safely called off or taken over by a willing participant. Scorekeepers must temporarily transfer duties to a different poster if they can't do so for a while.
- The entry that reaches 50 points first wins the round, and will be listed as the winner in the folder that will catalog the results for the former rounds.
- It is possible for two entries to reach 50 points from one vote that offers +1 points towards both entries. In that case, a special sub-round will take place to determine the proper winner of the round:
- The two entries will be listed, and participants may only add 2 points to one entry in their votes. The first entry to reach 20 points wins.
- Both entries will be listed as winners, the sub-round winner listed as the primary winner, and the sub-round loser listed as the secondary winner.
- It is possible for two entries to reach 50 points from one vote that offers +1 points towards both entries. In that case, a special sub-round will take place to determine the proper winner of the round:
- Every 50th round will have no specific theme and participants can nominate any characters they like with the rules above in mind, but one troper can volunteer as the scorekeeper.
- This rule here is something important, so important that should be stressed! Since this game will have a somewhat competitive tinge to it, please be respectful towards others and treat this game as what it is: Just a fun game. Aggressive coercion, threats by tropers towards other tropers and hosts, and major assholism will be unaccepted, regardless if it's in the thread or in PMs. Hosts and non-hosts that receive such kinds of PMs can resolve the issues by politely dealing with the problematic troper in the PMs, but if it gets out of hand, you should discuss the issue at Ask The Tropers.
- Finally, have fun!
- Fictional bears (in progress)
If it's been 24 hours since the last game and the waitlisted troper hasn't posted, it's free game.
Round 1:
Bears. They're so cool, aren't they? Sometimes, they can be Beary Friendly or Bad News, but one thing is true, and that's that we like ursines! The first round's theme is Fictional Bears. Yes to ursines, including grizzlies, polars, and even pandas, but no koala bears or red pandas please. As for teddy bears, I'll allow them as long as they're anthropomorphic in some way.
Just as a test, I'll be going up to 25 entries.
1. Grizzly

The true power of us human beings is that we can change ourselves on our own.Pretty much. Tropers can submit to hosts some winner quotes just in case their entry wins.
