Both the song and video have a lot of tender love behind them, and the combination of both (even when it branches off to tell its story) feels heart wrenching. I’d say the video adds to the song’s impact, turning a standard ballad into a tale of lost love. They don’t relate much besides their surface message, and the song is mostly a soundtrack to it. Nonetheless, it’s a good interpretation of the song. - 6/10 in relevancy.
