Got into it a few days ago an have been rewatching, this series is amazing. Pomni is best, 10/10.

True, but if Hazbin could still keep up a strong cult following years before the show itself premiered, I think TADC can manage.
Though IG it helped that Hazbin had a spinoff running to keep the world its set in established.

Yeah that's what I'm worried about.
Pibby got too big too fast without any real promise of a full series, and it fell hard. Meanwhile Digital Circus has certainly exploded, but with Glitch's release schedule rivaling Vivziepop it might suffer the same issue.
Theory: Caine is not Cain as in Cain and Abel. He is Caine as in NovoCaine. That is, he is a (tooth-based) painkiller, someone who took those who were condemned to suffering and tried to ease their pain, and seems impotent because he is the one being that treats these people as humans who deserve better and valiantly but ineffectually tries to prolong their damnation as much as possible.

To be fair I don't think Forbes had a writer who covered that part of the internet back then, so it might have been less "This is bigger" and more "The Goldbug Magazine didn't have anyone to write about it at the time and by the time they did they'd have looked late to the party."
Never considered their names had meaning. If they did, they weren’t blunt enough to me.
