This might sound like a troll, but I'd be down for a Hazbin Hotel crossover. Both shows are about (nigh-)immortal beings trapped in a hellish world. It just fits, I think.

Because of the Digital Circus, I actually started watching ReBoot for the first time and I've been wondering how a crossover between the two would go.

Jax meets Angel Dust, the Gloink Queen meets Charlie, chaos ensues.

Seriously though, it would be a fun mix. Maybe not Hazbin because of legal reasons, but I could see a Helluva Boss-Digital Cicus crossover (though likely as a non-canon joke video). Gooseworx actually did a fair bit of work on both Helluva Boss and the Hazbin Pilot (and some of her work, mainly Angel Dust's theme tune, actually made it into the main show).

To be fair, with the references to Caine and (possibly) Abel, along with the whole Purgatory feel, imagining the Circus is hell/purgatory/heaven isn't too much of a stretch. Definitely see what you mean though in regards to the rest of the show.

Caine is obviously Adam's son. This crossover is totally organic.

I tend to make jokes that Hazbin Hotel colored people expectations about the Circus and that fans should be prepared that their assumptions will be wrong: The pale protagonist probably isn't a lesbian and wont hook up with her one-eyed friend. Grinning, all-powerful manager in red tux probably doesn't have secrets and a nefarious hidden agenda. The whole setting most likely isn't hell or purgatory or any other afterlife. And tall thin asshole who likes to tease people probably doesn't have a hidden soft side and an upcoming redemption arc. But he is probably a porn star.

I also like to imagine what if someone else replaced Caine for a while as the ringmaster of the Circus. So far my candidates are Glados, Chris Mclain and Charlie Morningstar.

well so far the Jax one turned out to be correct (I that he is indeed lacking a soft side and is a straight ass), but I think "Hazbin but the opposite happens" would be just as predictable and would prolly not be what Gooseworx is going for so I expect some curveballs there.

I think some of what Gooseworx is doing may (emphasis on may) be to subvert expectations fans of the Hellaverse would have (not out of a dislike for Medrano's work, as I said Gooseworx contributed a fair bit to the Hellaverse, but as a way of making the Circus stand out in the web animation sphere and to subvert expectations). However, I think mainly she wants to make what she wants to make. If some of it is somewhat similar to Hazbin Hotel or Helluva Boss, so be it.

Anyone else kinda disappointed that with how in episode 2 Jax was waving that gun around for the first half of the episode but never fired a shot?

The First one is also somewhat confirmed, Goose said that TADC will have no romance.

No matter how much some people wish Pomni x Ragatha was canon too...

In fairness, the shippers would have done so regardless of what Gooseworx said, so she was probably just trying to get ahead of the inevitable again.

I wonder if he was supposed to use it, but it got cut, so he's instead just waving the thing around.

I think Jax not getting to fire the gun might have been intentional anti-climax since he ends story disappointed how lame it was.

Jax did get to shoot someone though (he shot Max with the boot launcher)

I meant that pistol he was waving around at the start of the adventure.

I expect the gun will be important later.
