If you just want to cut a page, you can submit it to the Cut List here. You don't need to post in this thread for that.
As mentioned on the Cut List page itself, cutting is generally seen as a last resort. If it's a Work page for a valid work, we may ask if there have been other attempts to save it. If it's a subpage, we may want to confirm that examples are being moved, not lost entirely.
Cut requests that don't have a reason will be declined.
Posts here may cover the following topics:
- Mod or engineer posts confirming that a cut has been declined.
- Challenges to save something that's already on the Cut List but hasn't been cut yet.
- Queries about recovering or restoring a page that's already been cut.
- Queries about next steps for pages where a cut request was declined (e.g. due to very high inbounds).
- General Cut List policy questions.

The cut request for YMMV.Doctor Who60th AS The Star Beast has been declined. The premature Broken Base example has already been cut, and some other tropes have been added to expand the page, so it looks valid.

I originally added it because the name overlapped with a trope and a manga, so I moved everything to Fanfic.Metamorphosis End Of Abraxas. But then I realized that I could just make it a redirect.

Hello, would it be possible to remove Recap.Kamen Rider Revice Ep 6 Evils True Identity A Shocking Showtime from the cutlist? I'm not familiar with the series, so I was assuming that this page was replaced with Recap.Kamen Rider Revice Ep 6 The True Identity Of Evil A Showtime So Cruel because the latter was the correct title, but after glancing around the internet a little, I'm not so sure. I'll need to look into it a little more to determine which page should be kept.

WebOriginal.Fragaria Memories's cut on 8th was declined with "the work page can be improved by copying over examples from the character page". What does that mean? At that time, and even now actually, the characters page has only one trope with sufficient context, so the combined page would still be a stub.
Ayumi-chan has added some examples to the work page today, so now the cut request can be declined.

Mermaids and Sea People is a redirect to Our Mermaids Are Different that has exactly zero wicks of its own, compared to the over 1700+ the latter currently has. Yesterday I cutlisted the redirect for that reason, but when I went back to the cutlist today I noticed the request was declined.
There's zero point in having a redirect with no wicks of its own, so I request that Mermaids and Sea People is cut for being a pointless redirect.

Not sure where to put this but as Main.Text Formatting Rules has been cut because it's been moved to Administrivia.Text Formatting Rules the link at the bottom of the "Add Post" window on the form when you open the Show Markup Help folder that leads to it is broken.

I would like to restore the GUAG Ministry Of Atonement page, which was cut last month for "no actual entries", which would be a problem easily fixed by just adding one (I would have done so myself if it weren't for dealing with other stuff), so I don't think lack of activity is a proper reason to cut.

Why was the request for WebOriginal.Eternal declined? It's a mostly deprecated namespace. No need for it because all the wicks have been moved and Literature.Eternal exists to catch inbounds.
