Nebula & Quasar (ARG)

A few months ago, this ARG popped up about a forgotten early 2000s side-scrolling platformer series about two alien siblings that protect the galaxy from baddies and monsters. So far, it's been hinted at that the games are kid-friendly, but there are some frightening imagery, and possibly even worse things in the 'recalled demos'.

The two channels associated with the project are NAQtube, which uploads commercials, 'old' youtube videos, and various songs, and plasmapunk, who seems to be uploading things more directly related to the mysteries surrounding the creator, Thomas Snyder, and why the demo prizes were recalled. Extra information is told in the video descriptions and comment threads from the channels maintaining Kayfabe.

Also they use a lot of electronic, pop, and techno songs that were popular in the 90s.

EDIT: The original Demo Recall video has been basically declared non-canon and replaced by an updated version. The "It's On" video also had to be reuploaded at one point.

We get a better idea of what the cutscenes look like and the dynamic between the protagonists and their boss, Stonecold, even if it's an earlier version that has a number of differences. The origin of 'Plasma Punk' too.

For those with less knowledge of some of the established lore, the 'StarLord' mentioned briefly is an early name for Starstraw, Nova's partner and he's a... weird-looking human.

He shows up in cutscene form for a blip at around 1:01.

The ARG celebrates its 1 year anniversary with this cute little video.

Another oddity with the series getting a spin-off karaoke arcade game exclusive to Japan. The little blue cyclops is called Neno and it's apparently his voice we've been hearing singing the lyrics to the various songs.

I discovered this through another You Tube video. I hope we get to see more of it.

We've got a bright and shiny trailer of what the story for the game is (at least the PC version), complete with the first time Zeno's spoken in the ARG.

A compilation of 'unused' voice lines that were rougher, more violent, and used swears. I'm guessing Snyder was aiming for a T rating originally before having to tone it way down.

Starstraw continuing to be unvoiced is interesting. So is the section at the end dedicated to Double Trouble. Wonder if that'll be explored more.
