I am watching through this series again on streaming service, having not seen it in quite a while, and while I know I won't remember everything, there are a few things I am more than positive are alternate moments to what I saw in the past. One was the episode where they play a song by The Beastie Boys. I noticed it was different and thought I misremembered. Then I looked it up, and apparently it did play the Beastie Boys, except only on its first airing, and subsequent airings played this knockoff. Yet, I remember it with the Beastie Boys, not all that long ago, actually. And I wasn't even alive when the episode first aired.
Another notable difference is the episode where they go to the movies on Kelly's birthday ends differently. In the past, I remember Kelly telling her ex boyfriend, who was cheating on her, "I will handle this like a mature adult." and she goes to sit down in her seat. However, the ending I remember was her sitting down there, and then she starts crying in this comedically infantile way, kinda like Peggy, and then she rests her head on her mother's lap. But when I saw it, she asked her dad to beat up her ex boyfriend, to which he does so.
And finally, the episode where she participates on a game show, but can only fit certain memories...the episode is the same, but I remember the set she's on being completely different. The set I saw when I watched it recently was this minty green color, and looked fairly minimalist. However, I remember the set being a dark blue color, and having almost a neon look. I'm also pretty sure Kelly wore a leather jacket.
