This is a thread engineers can use to communicate with moderation and ask questions about the following engineer duties:
- TLP management.
- Video example management.
- TRS/IP Crowner management.
- Pinning headers and editing thread titles for TRS/IP.
- Editing locked pages.
- Moving pages via page mover tool.
- Create pages in main.
- Move discussion pages
The primary reason why the engineer feature was pushed up was that the admins want the videos to be processed faster so videos approval should be top priority. You guys are free to work on other parts of the site but please try to work on the videos regularly.
Policy notes
- Engineers can unlock TRS threads, but must not unlock Content Violation Discussion threads (as the moderators need to be directly involved in The Content Policy work).
- This thread is visible to all users, as the contents are not confidential. However, only mods and engineers are able to post in it.

Engineers have "add/fix title" option visible, but not available. It shows "Error: This page is only for moderators. Try something else."

I'm giving a heads up that I've got some real life stuff going on that won't be done for a bit, and it makes it harder to use my computer for long periods of time. Anny tips anywhere for fixing special characters? Some seem to work in titles and others don't. This
request addresses the video I was trying to fix, only for the special characters to leave garbage text. This isn't consistent so it must be my own error.

Does "The Powerpuff Girls try candy" count for the trope? I can't tell if it's meant to be taken literally or not.
Edit: Brought us down from 7 pages to 2 (not counting above video alone on page 3), because I need to eat at some point.

I think the "orgasm" aspect of the trope isn't striclty literal, moreso for over-the-top positive reactions to food, and it's listed as an example on the page so I was thinking yes. But I'm unsure myself.
I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe.
My first instinct was to say Orgasmically Delicious shouldn't be taken to be any more literal than Design Student's Orgasm... but looking at the description and original YKTTW leads me to swing the other way. This may need a trip to TRS.

I'm also holding off on doing more "Furry Force" videos (there's four to review, all called Victor Vivisector) due to the concerns raised in this ATT that I think needs more feedback (either here or there).

Ah, didn't see that before approving the ones on the backburner (trying to catch up hastily). They can be rejected if others prefer. I did think the censors were a bit much but the first one or two that I approved weren't as blatant as the later ones. (I'm usually pretty critical of the videos I approve which is partly why I've left a lot behind lately, and I might be overcorrecting now trying to catch up, sorry.)
Is the suggested video for Exposition technically fair use? It's half the video, yes, but the video in question just loops the same footage twice.

I did approve "Super Silly Fun Land", though it could probably be swapped to the rollercoaster trope (which is secondary right now).
I'm really not sure what to do with all the Furry Force stuff rn. I could barely get through the first few when I approved them.
As for "Exposition", I approved without reading that. It's borderline and we may want a mod to weigh in.

Just a reminder -
Engineer permissions let you unlock Content Violation Discussions threads, but please don't do that.
Due to the nature of that subforum and the potential impact on the wiki as a whole, the mods need to stay close to those discussions and this was deemed out of scope for engineers.
The pinned post has been updated to confirm this, as the original modpost is now buried in the thread.

This was added to clarify why the thread is visible to the public, since the fact that it is has been mistaken for a bug in the past.
