I'd like to suggest adding a "follow this draft" option. Akin to what we have for forum threads. It'd be useful for two reasons: one, the author gets notified about new replies/edits to the draft and two, people engaged in the discussion can also get alerted of new developments.
Here there be cats. The flag icon that's on every draft is the follow button for TLP. I think it's supposed to be changed to something that's more clearly associated with following a page like a pin/thumbtack in a future update.

Macron's notesWould it be possible to fix indentation markup?
Basically, using \\ at the end of a line to apply the indentation level to the next line changes to \ when saving edits, which screws up the formatting, meaning you have to start each indented line with -->.
Also, redlinks don't show up as such in comments, is it possible to fix that?

Fyi, I assume that slash issue is the one explained in the page ender on the last page?
Disambig Needed: Help with those issues! tvtropes.org/pmwiki/posts.php?discussion=13324299140A37493800&page=24#comment-576Yep (didn't know it also azpplied to single slashes).
The idea to "Disable launch button for anyone but mods and authors" needs a mechanism to handle adopted TLP proposals. Many tropes are started, abandoned, and ultimately adopted by someone else and launched by this later user. Of the last 30 launched tropes, 7 were adopted (roughly 1 in 4).

That was discussed in the thread about that proposal.
- Implement a version of the proposal in said thread.
- Wait 2-3 weeks to ensure it works reasonably well.
- If any significant bug is found in the implementation of that thread, the timer should restart after the fix to that bug goes live.
- If the feature works okay, only then should this limit on launching be implemented on site.
This won't come up very often, but mods should be able to delete or at least thump comments on drafts. Right now if somebody is spamming ads or being excessively rude, the best they can do is edit the comment to say something else.
someone1981,
If you look at the list, mods and authors will have the ability to transfer ownership of drafts to other tropers. So the new owner will become the one able to launch.
Also, all testing will be done before it goes live. Nothing is pushed live without rigorous testing on the dev server. The goal is no bugs before anything goes live. Mistakes happen but we try to avoid that.
murlocaggrob,
Added to the list.

Now monitoring Wishlist and BugsTwo other features I would like:
- The "Folders Open" setting should include the TLP (yes, I do have that setting turned on)
- A setting should exist to auto-open the entire TLP proposal as opposed to needing to push the "Continue reading" button each time.

I remember that before the last time TLP was updated, the listing on the main page included the time the draft was last updated. Is it possible to bring that back? It made it easier to know the last place you left off.
A setting should exist to auto-open the entire TLP proposal as opposed to needing to push the "Continue reading" button each time.
Honestly, I think this should be the default appearance of a draft.
While we're at it, we should fix the way the links appear on TLP. Right now, all the links appear blue, making it hard to find out if they exist or are disambiguated. Red links used to be visible once upon a time.
Mmmaybe. The wiki pages don't have it, so I don't think TLP should. If the size bothers people, it's a sign to ask the sponsor to folderize examples and be more concise with the description.
TroperWall / WikiMagic Cleanupin the comments, not the draft itself.
Willbyr, Do you think i should just remove the 'continue reading' entirely?
I think so. It's an annoyance to have to click it to see the entire proposal, and makes some good points.
Greetings.
I know the wishlist is quite large already by now, so I'm ashamed to bring this up. However, I would like to ask if there's a way to fix a certain bug that is affecting the headline quotes of certain drafts.
I'm currently sponsoring (after prior adoption) this draft; originally, the quote at the top cited the speech of two characters who are having a conversation in a video game's cutscene, which would normally require using two backslashes at the end of the first character's line to seggregate the text and separate the respective dialogue lines of the two characters. However, in this case it didn't work, as the lines would be awkwardly lumped together or, worse, have one or even both backslashes disappear (either after the edit is saved or when the next edit somehow deletes it/them without notice), thus making the second character's speech no longer appear as part of the quote's format (but rather as regular text). For now I resolved to eliminate the first character's line and then cite the full speech of the second to preserve the context, but I thought this would be worth an examination.
Also of note is that this bug isn't recent, because it also happened when I was sponsoring Platform-Activated Ability last year (and l also posted about it back then in the comments section; in that case my only option was to replace the affected quote altogether).
The good news is that the quotes put in the examples are unaffected by this.

Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure Pureness
Crown Description:
The TLP is getting the ability to launch other pages besides tropes so we want the name to be more generalized. Please do not add new options to the crowner.
Just making sure, the issue with tons of blank pages at the end of the default TLP list... Isn't on the list of fixes. I assume because it's harder than all the rest?
- True, and thanks!
