Hello everyone!
While the tasks I've completed so far go through the review process, my next project I'll be working on is improving the Trope Launch Pad as much as possible.
Below is a list of the current ideas for changes and improvements and wanted to ask the community if I'm missing anything important or if you have suggestions or questions about things currently on the list please let me know!

CURRENT PROGRESS:(needs design work)

I'm astonished that autowicking might be that easy, and looking forward to see how it works!
The Revolution Will Not Be TropeableSo, and I hope I don't sound like an impatient patron at a restaurant, but when can we expect the changes to go live? I'm asking, because I want to have a time that I can look forward to, so I don't keep getting disappointed that it hasn't happened yet.
For every low there is a high.Ditto. Can't wait for the improvements.

ᜇᜎᜈ᜔ᜇᜈ᜔|I DO COMMISSIONS|ᜇᜎᜈ᜔ᜇᜈ᜔Per Kory's last post in the "what's changed" thread, I think this has jumped ahead of the TLP fixes in the queue, but they should still be coming fairly soon.
This is relatively minor, but I don't see it in the pinned post. Is there any plan to change the hatting pop-up in addition to the bomb one? The current pop-up is very outdated, specifically in how it claims 3 examples is enough to launch (when that's just the minimum you should start with).
Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure PurenessAh, must've missed that somehow (I didn't look at the pictures so that's probably why).
Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure PurenessIt has occurred to me that if there's an ability to ping in TLP (probably worth copying formatting tips to TLP actually), and the bomb button lists people who've voted and reasonings, it makes it easy for sponsors to notify specific people for followup feedback after making improvements.
It was probably not specifically mentioned, but it feels like would be the effect of new changes combined.
TroperWall / WikiMagic CleanupIs it too late to make suggestions?
I've been thinking that when launching work pages, there should be a tool to properly generate the correct WikiWord from a title (barring a name with another work), and that launching a work will allow auto-submitting a custom title.
This is more for trying to mitigate further occurrences of this custom title bug where only a specific capitalization of a WikiWord will display the custom title and it is impossible to reassign to a different capitalization.
Basically, if this tool will be used to launch a work page, someone should be able to just input the title as written without worry about how to capitalize the WikiWord.
Doesn't TLP allow you to select the custom title on launch already?
TroperWall / WikiMagic CleanupAccording to the TLP Guidelines, Custom titling is still a separate process.
Well, it shouldn't be even for tropes and I wonder if it was requested before.

TroperWall / WikiMagic CleanupI can tell from experience that recently-launched trope pages, as well as work paged made as free action, need a request for customization.
135 - 169 - 273 - 191 - 188 - 230 - 300Not sure if this has been proposed before, but I’ve been thinking: should hats and bombs be locked for a period of time (I’d say 24 hours) after a draft is created? One of the most recurring issues I’ve seen occur in the TLP is inexperienced troper creates sloppy draft -> draft quickly gathers many bombs -> draft has to be nuked. Having a brief moratorium for all drafts initially might counteract impulse/group bombing.
back lolThat's actually coming. They'll be locked for three days.
Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure PurenessAlright, sounds good.
back lolDon't see it on the list. Remind me if "enough tropes think this can be nuked" (also the old TLP name) despite drafts having no bombs yet was addressed.
TroperWall / WikiMagic Cleanup
That's just there for the sponsor, so that early discards can happen if necessary. (Surprised it's still not available for engineers yet tho)
Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure PurenessTbh, the Discard option should only be available to sponsors or mods anyway. While not common, rogue nuking is just as rude as rogue launching. If there's an old draft that has a lot of bombs, removing it warrants a discussion beforehand.
Edited by Amonimus on Dec 19th 2023 at 11:26:43 PM
TroperWall / WikiMagic CleanupI disagree. While rogue-discarding is definitely rude, the ability for anybody to nuke a draft that needs it is extremely valuable for clearing out the backlog without bugging mods or forcing people to adopt things first. Rogue-discarding is more of a community problem since people have no chill around drafts they dislike.
And we already have means to discuss these things. Making a mod do the work would only slow progress down even more.

Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure Pureness
Crown Description:
The TLP is getting the ability to launch other pages besides tropes so we want the name to be more generalized. Please do not add new options to the crowner.
Wow, that's really exciting! Can't wait to see how this develops
