The other good option is eisenhorn, that was my entry to 40k novels as its very easy to read and have a "james bond but in 40k" feel, hell the third book have a easy action scenes.
"My Name is Bolt, Bolt Crank and I dont care if you believe or not"The other fan suggestion I've seen about a Ciaphas Cain adaptation is that Cain as others see him is played by a typical Heroic Build actor, and the actual Cain is played by someone who looks like a 'soft wet cat of a man' as Tumblr likes to say.
The only problem with doing a Cain adaptation is that, since the series is a pisstake on the 40K setting, it would have to come after something else playing it straight.
Indeed. Cain is basically Blackadder in 40K. Eisenhorn is something much better as a jumping-off point.
That or we do a Band of Brothers-style series adaptation of Gaunt's Ghosts.
Isn't Gaunt's Ghosts inspired by Sharpe?
Welcome to Estalia, gentlemen.True XD But given the different styles of warfare it'd probably play out more like Band of Brothers.

I'm still thinking that a Ciaphas Cain series could be a good start as he's universally beloved by the fans and secondary, the series is not too grimdark for most casual viewers. Cain is very lovable and would easily draw people in.
