Only a vague idea at the moment, but how would it make sense to adapt fantasy races/monsters/classes into a world where everything is mechanical, a la Cybertron (possibly disregarding some race treated as the Fair Folk or Precursors. I have this vague idea of gremlins being seen as a serious threat)?

To start with, it might be worth looking at our page on "Science Fantasy"; you may find some inspiration there!

Otherwise... I'm not sure that I understand the question: What do you mean when you ask "how would it make sense"?

Honestly adapting fantasy creatures to robots might be more realistic as machines are less likely to need a human body plan so you can either go with cyborgs or fully mechanical lifeforms that resemble fantasy creatures.

Faeries could also instead being living programs instead

Magic would basically be Magitech or Clarketech anyway.

But as for mixing organics fantasy creatures, yeah Science Fantasy is a good starting point, along with the Final Fantasy and Xeno games and those inspired by them and any setting with Lost Technology

If you need visual inspiration. I will direct you to Yugioh's Therion and Mecha Phantom Beast themes
