We starting a Toki Pona thread, huh? I guess it's more popular than I thought it was. I mean, it does have a "good article" on Wikipedia, so...
Literally every problem with Capitalism is Inherent in the SystemI've been meaning to learn the language, seems really fun to me. Any tips?

Some of the lessons on You Tube explain it well. Remember that the language is non-conformative. What I mean by that is it's more akin to a game of charades than a language with a set way to say everything (e.g. in English we cannot say "voted king" to mean "president"). As long as you know how the grammar works, it's accepted to phrase something however you want. Combined with the minimalist vocabulary, it's easy to write down and use.

So, yeah. I've been learning a lot about toki pona this past month. It's been a lot of fun.

I want to learn Toki Pona, but I never get around to it. How can I start?
Well, there is the official book... It costs money however, so whatever you do don't download it from somewhere else. Very illegal and immoral.
There is also probably enough content online to help get you started. There is that one course operated by a dude on neocities who clearly didn't expect to get so popular. There is also the series by jan Misali, but I wouldn't recommend it as I have some personal drama with him.

Also I should mention there is Toki Ma, which is the same as Toki Pona but with the vocabulary doubled. Saying this just in case you find it and are thrown off by it. Some people thought adding more words was necessary for certain international audiences, to the pet peeve of many loyal speakers. Yep, even languages have their heresies.

toki pona! tenpo lili ni mi toki lawa mute note note
Trouble Cube continues to be a general-purpose forum for those who desire such a thing.
Toki en tenpo suno pona, mi sona e sina. Sina pilin seme? Nimi mi li Sina, en mi kama tan ma US. Sina sona ala sona e toki pona?
Toki pona is the world's easiest language to learn. It's designed so you could learn it in a week. It's also blessed in that speaking it verifiably makes you happier. Toki Ma, a slightly modified version of the language, also exists, and that is encouraged here too.
