Friendless tropers, identify yourselves!

For tropers who have no friends in real life. Suffering from loneliness is as lethal as smoking fifteen cigarettes a day.

People can be friendless for a few reasons; maybe they don't have access to people, or the person is afraid of something, or the person is stigmatized or inspires others' assumptions about themself, or the person has a hard time keeping up a conversation at other peoples' pace and/or is naturally silent, or the person doesn't share interests with anyone, or the person is a difficult person, or the person has high standards (don't do that), or a combination of any or all of these things.

I've only had two undeniable friends my whole life. Then I moved because I had to inherit a home and the friendship is now in doubt due to communication. Other people have friends but lose them for other reasons; some pass away and you're not prepared for that, some migrate or are displaced, some friendships just sour over time, and some people just never had friends. The modern term for a friendless person who wants a friend is called an infren.

Let this thread be another blow to the menace known as loneliness (even offline loneliness).

Me nowadays. I talk in a few online communities, but I'm so focused on work I have no real friends per se.

I got no irl friends, but I do have plenty online friends... I hope its enough...

Me too I pretty much don't have any friends. So yeah.
