Alright to prove I haven't forgotten about this, here's the Discord channel while I still write the beginning post!

Name: Runicas fan Raem (Runi, for short)

Race: Half-Elf.

Appearance: “If you’re gonna play a hero, red’s the way to go!”

Class: Warrior/Monk (Using a Greatsword Class weapon)

• Awakened to the Heavenly Ki: Passive Ability Builds Ki within the user’s body, which is then released with every 5th basic attack or ability, dealing holy type damage in a small circle around the user’s body. Additionally, allows for the accumulation of “Latent Power” on ability use or passive activation.
  • Latent Power: (Status) (Stackable x5) Builds power in both body and weapon, once per 5 normal and/or ability activations, or up to 3 times per enemy hit by Heavenly Ki. This power is released at 5 accumulations, empowering the next 5 normal attacks with extra holy damage. Also changes abilities to deal extra damage. Certain abilities can only be used under the effect of “Latent Power Unleashed”.

• Aggressive Kiai: Let loose a battle cry, provoking enemies to attack you in a cone in front of the user.
• Measured Slash->Tsubame Gaeshi:Sweep your blade in front to damage enemies. “Latent Power Unleashed” Slash thrice in quick succession, dealing bonus wind damage.
• Resolute Stance->Shinku-no-Tsuki:Plant your blade in the ground to shake the earth, dealing damage directly in front of you. “Latent Power Unleashed:”Damage becomes fire element, also follow up with a rising slash on your nearest foe.
• Falling Leaf->Kaminari Ryusei: Leap into the air and crush your enemy beneath your blade. “Latent Power Unleashed:” Catch lightning as you jump, releasing it around you as you impact the ground.
• Seiken • Tenryu no Sabaki: (Useable only under the effect of “Latent Power Unleashed” with one stack remaining.) Unleash the rage of a holy dragon, dealing 16 hits of Holy damage in a line in front of you. The first enemy hit will take more damage than subsequent enemies.
• Enryuken • Funka: (Useable only under the effect of “Latent Power Unleashed.” Effect ends upon use. Power increases with number of stacks.) Channel all remaining power in your blade, pulling all nearby enemies to you, then releasing it in a fiery eruption. Deals damage equivalent to 50% of maximum HP to user upon resolution of this ability.

History: Runi’s player is about as average of a college student as you can get. He participated in the tail end of RO’s beta test and fell in love with the world. Though he never did transfer over his beta character (a Ranger/Wizard with a crossbow) he made Runi as a “natural progression of that character, I guess!”

He plays for the fun of it, and heavily enjoys getting into his character, often taking time to respond not as himself, but as Runicas fan Raem. In doing so, he’s built himself up as a sort of jovial merc type, fun to be around, even if he hasn’t mastered this new class combo of his just yet.

• Class: Artificer/Ranger
  • Charged Shot: Kiran's attacks do increased damage and have higher crit chance depending on how full his MP is, but basic attacks drain a tiny bit of MP.

  • Elemental Ammo: Kiran can switch between a variety of ammo types that alter the effects of his attacks on hit and on crit.

  • There's a variety of other skills focused around support and DPS that are affected by the above as well, too many to list here but keeping with the theme of "magic gunslinger"

• History: Kiran is a veteran casual MMORPG player, often playing support or squishy damage dealers. After a bit of a rough patch with an old guild in another MMO, he's moved on over to try out Ragnarok Online and see its vaunted class system and to find some newer friends. He's spent a fair bit of time in the game but has yet to put down any sort of roots, but is most definitely considering it. He's notably not very talkative about his real life situation, and draws attention back to the game as soon as possible as soon as its brought up.
