I imagine that it would depend heavily on what powers a person might have, how common supervillains are, how common superheroes are, what technologies and materials are available, and so on.
That said, one thought that comes to mind might be a silent alarm that alerts local heroes to supervillain-related crimes.
My Games & WritingThe best measure against villainous superhumans would be superhumans themselves but not heroes but hired like a security force.
Sincerely S Awatching.Pressure sensors that can detect sudden changes in ambient air pressure that may indicate a teleporter. Multi-spectrum cameras that detect really far into the IR and UV to try and circumvent invisibility. Shielded and hardened electronics to prevent technopath shenanigans.
Sonar for full spectrum invisibility. Electromagnetic sensors for electrokinetics messing with the lock circuitry. Semi-isolated pins for ferrokinetics picking the lock or warping the doors. Weights suspended on wires to trip up speedsters.
With the sonar, technically some real world sensors use ultrasonic sound for detection already.
That is, what security would businesses, etc, have in a world where supervillains are a known and expected contingency?
