When to use folders

Hello, hopefully this is the right place to ask:

How long should an example list be before it's split into folders? How many examples should be in a single folder? I'm sure there aren't exact cutoffs for this, but are there any guidelines? Just want to avoid being too hasty.

There aren't, and everyone probably has a different bar for example section length. I would say, on desktop, if any section is two screens long, that's enough to make folders.
