So, I found a new webcomic. Adventure/fantasy themed, with great plot, worldbuilding, art and characters, enough material for a binging session, a fast enough update pacing (2 pages a week), still likely to last years and whose author seems to be planning things ahead. And no paywall.
That's a pretty rare combination to find these days, so I'm creating a thread for it.
Phantomarine is an Ocean Punk story about a princess who is assassinated along with her ship's crew during a trip, then finds herself having to challenge a Trickster God for her soul, and if she loses, she will join his collection of souls in the bottom of the ocean. She somehow manages to bring the dispute to a stalemate, and now she and her crewmates, now ghosts, have to go on a quest across the ocean to find a way to go back to life. Meanwhile, they get involved in some political/religious plot about the origin of their world.
