I can think of two webcomics where their gone forever, and they don't don't have wiki and tropes pages.

One is Data Monkey. It was like a gag comic, that was developing a serious plotline, about data scientists, where the creator was slowly improving their art.

I actually reached out to them and told them how much I enjoyed it.

The other was a horror comic I discovered off tvtropes, but I can't even find the trope page any more and I don't remember the name.

It had really angular, black and white art. It was about a guy who ended up in a cabin and didn't know how, and a forest was surrounding the house.

And another one that's probably still out there, is this comic that had simple, almost but not quite pixel art, about a guy who moved to a dead relatives town. It was also horror.

I realize that this could be problematic, if the creatorbsisnt want their work up any more, or if it was something like a webtoon, but work should just be taken down if a creator requests it.

I feel like even small comics, are important to webcomic history.
