Descendants Villain RP

Inspired by the Descendants Film series.

Unlike in the series, this takes place in a version of Auradon where the villain round up never occurred. Instead, the various villains went into hiding while United Kingdom of Auradon created a magical shield around their main city, with all known / named villains blocked by the shield.

You are the next generation, planning to destroy Auradon.

This is mainly an interest sign-up; please include what character idea you want (including which villain, Disney or Non-Disney, who if your character's parent or mentor). Remember the shield will limit how much help your parent or mentor can provide.

Feel free to suggest any RP system to use as the basis of the game; I'm thinking of a one number/ two stat system like Lasers and Feelings.

Special abilities or equipment: 200 IQ, dehydrator gun and holo-watch

Character description: Mega-Mindy looks much like her mother, except blue, bald, and with a slightly enlarged head (Not as much as her father's). Most of the time, she uses her holo-watch to appear a normal human teenager with brown hair teased into an afro (to match the size of her real head).

Back Story:  Life's not easy when you're green blue and the daughter of Metro-City's number 1 power couple. Mega-Mindy uses her dad's old holo-watch to try to blend in. Helping the villian team to be with her girl crush and get away from her mom the super reporter and her dad.

"My daughter is a thespian?!?" "Lesbian, dad." "I won't stand for this!" "You're standing right now. And yelling."

Villain Number: (2 - 5) 4, Mindy is better with tech then people.

Character Name: Esperanza de la Cruz

Player Name: Kiobi 20

Parent(s) and/or Mentor: The greatgrandaughter of Ernesto de la Cruz (coco from pixar)

Special abilities or equipment: Has the abulity of seeing and talking to ghost thanks to her connection to the land of the death thanks to her link towards her ancestor, she has an acustic guitar which she can play well and a pretty good singing voice.

Character description: She's a young and pretty teenage girl with brown skin, black hair and brown eyes, she aranged her hair in a couple of pigtails which are decorated with a couple of Sempasuchil flower and she commonly dresses in a traditional red white and green dress.

Back Story: Before as the descendant of Ernesto de la Cruz, one of the most famous musicians of the world until the truth about her greatgrandfaughter was revealed all her fame was turned into infamy and her family's last name fell in disgrace, and she went from a celebrity to a despised fugitive, she now looks for a way to get revenge on the rivera family for exposing her legacy for the fraud it was and ruining her life and also help the villains decsendants take over Auradon so she can recover her status as the star she knows she should be.

Villain Number (2 - 5): 2, good at social situations and it's pretty charming but she doesn't have much magic or skills otherwise.

Esperanza is approved.

^I think you missed the character description, is mindy blue like her father or white like her mother, maybe a bit of both? does she have a bald big head too? I'm curious as to how a mix between human and whatever megamind is would look like.

Well, I think I came up with quite the concept.

Character Name: Renault of Lyon
Player Name: Pentigan
Mentor: Hades
Special abilities or equipment:

• Thanatical Pyre: In pitched situations, Renault can channel the blue-hot flames of the underworld in a combative fashion.
• Dealmaker: A bit of the god's own guile and wheeling-dealing nature has rubbed off on this travelling priest, giving extra weight to agreements he makes. As long as Renault is not personally culpable for a deal he makes being broken, he is liable to seem trustworthy.
• Charter the Boatman: Should the need arise, Renault can call upon a ferryman to traverse waterways, though given the premium rate for out of service area calls this usually comes out to significantly more than two drachma a trip.

Character description: Thin and pale from the poverty of his hometown, Renault tries to keep his figure obscured with darkened robes. His hair's a short-cut mess of pale brown and there's something of a fiery spark to his blue eyes. He often carries a walking staff to complete the look of a wizened travelling priest, despite his comparative youth.
Back Story: There's a town far from Auradon which has a metal statue in the square. It's said that the statue was once a man or a monster, though few remember whether he was a priest or merely a judge. The town isn't large and its distance from the shining kingdom leaves it poor, and yet the chapel and the priests that shout of damnation from within are lavishly-appointed. It is into this place that Renault was born and raised, in the shadow of a faith that he was expected to follow. He was raised on their values, ones that were said to align with those in the shining kingdom far away.

But he chafed at the idea, how could a divinity of light let all but the ministers pass into death so often? He found a more comforting yet more heretical faith babbling from the river: That so often the light is callous, but that even gods will have to face the house of death itself eventually. He was swayed, and took up the influence of the keeper of the house.

They ban the worship of Hades in Auradon; Renault would claim it is because the royals wish to make death taboo, that the fact that in time all must enter his mentor's house is uncomfortable to them. That's why he wishes to pilgrimage to the capital, to prophletize the forbidden worship... Well, and to avenge a matter of a broken oath on the part of one of those gods above.
Villain Number: 4

Tentatively approved; you might want your patron to be Charon instead of Hades directly. I am fine with you keeping the powers, include the flames of Death. The main reason you might want to change is that any version of Hades will be influenced by the Disney Descendants 3 portrayal or the one in Disney's Hercules.

On the promise deal: As a priest of Death, promises made by you/with you have the same effect as being sworn on the river Styx. Promises with you are effectively the same as having an oath from a god.

The version from Hercules was kind of the one I was using as inspiration for this but I'm up for swapping over to Charon.

I'm fine with you keeping Hades if you want, as long as you're willing to go with a movie version of Hades. I'd like to get at least one more player before I pull the trigger on starting this, two more would be better.

How many people would you want to signup before the rp starts?

Would like at least one other player, more preferable.

so if you accept villains from dreamworks, would you accept from other animation studios like sony, warner or ilumination?

Question, can i have my character be from a webcomic? I wanted my character to be a Parliament spy, because i thought a character tearing Auradon from the inside sounds interesting.... that also includes the other characters kinda.

  • Perceptual Morph: Shapeshifting. She just shapeshifts. She acts like its normal but its just shapeshifting.

  • : Altered Perception: Veri is not from our world, she's...from somewhere else i guess. Minnesota? Anyways, she can see things we cant.

• Character description: A spunky white young girl, she wears a white t-shirt with a blue pleated skirt, and a tie. Along with her cyan eyes and blond hair is her weird fleshy thing that appears when she opens her mouth, while talking its a flesh fang, but completely out it appears as a line cutting her mouth in 2.

• Back Story: Nobody really knows where Veri came from. One day she just...appeared. And she settled in. Some people say someone caught her talking to her family on her meaty phone, and where never seen again. Some say she is from another dimension, and is there to integrate everyone into a mass. All we currently know is, she's with the villain kids alright.

• Villain Number: 3, Mainly specializes in blending in, but due to her special abilities she refuses to call "magic", she's a 3.

Well, it's been four months or so since I had the original idea and I'm not sure I have the time/energy/interest to run this.
