I don't think it's so much a complaint about making exactly the movie any one person wants as it is the idea that, to a degree, they keep making the same movies with different window dressing. Whether that's a problem, of course, depends on the viewer. Some viewers really get upset when Disney tries to experiment with their animated films.
Years ago I saw a documentary about MTV where they summed up the channel's corporate strategy as "don't change what we provide, don't try new and different things, just find new ways to sell what we've already got to new audiences." I think you see this strategy at play at Disney (and a lot of other media companies, too).

Did somebody say Expedition and Alien Planet? Now this I gotta see.
I like to keep my audience riveted.I know that is what they meant to say but I wish that post had been phrased better.

New theme music also a boxI like the homage to pulp fiction story lines and the protagonist looks pretty interesting, but I hope there is more variety to the titular strange world they've shown. At first it will be beautiful, no doubt, but after one hour showing the same color pallete and biome might get old, which is a big problem if you base your movie in the setting.

oh hey how are you doing?I got Morrowind and Pandora vibes respectfully when I saw the world in the trailer
New theme music also a boxThere is one shot that seems to be in some kind of green glowing Cave at least. But I agree with the sentiment. Ideally the trailer only showed the first of several distinct biomes.

I'm honestly kind of curious to see where this place actually is. Is it deep underground, kind of like the hollow Earth theory? Is it some alien planet the Clades get to via portal? Is it straight up just in another dimension? Genuinely curious.
Gotta admit, after years of feeling kinda disillusioned by animated movies, this is one of the few trailers that genuinelly intrigues me. I'll look forward to it.
The film looks nice, love the retro touches.
I just saw a faux 2D skit from the movie and I LOVED IT. IT LOOKED AWESOME.

I admit I haven't watched it either, but I will get to it eventually.
It really didn't help that this movie's marketing was SO poor most didn't realize it existed until it was about to be released in theaters. Which is very sad considering it's a Disney movie released on a Thanksgiving weekend.
Ok, I watched it. It isn't terrible, but it definitely falls into the So Okay, It's Average category along with Wish. The Green Aesop was kinda heavy handed.
One of my favorite YouTubers, Fionapolla, made a very cute joke about the movie. She said she wants the turtle to have friends. :)
Well, if he had panda people living on him, he would. ;)
I like to keep my audience riveted.(Spoilers) The end scene had the turtle swimming on a planet all alone. I would have had other turtles (as an And the Adventure Continues). Also, they should be swimming in space.
But I frankly find that absurd. You cant blame the filmmakers for not going into your head and putting out the movie exactly as you want it.
